Problems getting out of a room

    Hi to everyone everyone,

    This is my first post on the forum and I would like you to help me with a problem I have.

    When the client opens and I enter my normal account, I create a room to play and after a long time has passed (3 to 5 minutes) when I proceed to leave the room and create another one, it takes me to the Login screen to enter my password. This has been going on for a while and I haven't done anything other than Windows updates.

    This happens if I have 1 or more game windows open.

    Seems like you are using the same account to login, but playing with 2+ different character?

    When you log in on account on which you already joined the game, server drops out all the active sessions on this particular account. That’s why you should keep chars on different accounts when you use multi windows.

    Hello and welcome aboard @thiinks.
    Unless you are playing two different characters that belong to one account as @Deathtroll and @Herlikium mentioned, it's most likely an internet connection issue. I've seen that a couple of times before where rate limiting kicks in and the packets being sent expire faster than they should which is why it kicks you back to the login screen as you would time out.

    Hi everyone,

    For deathtroll and Herlikium, ty for take time for replaying. I keep all my accounts separately, I have something like 5 different accounts for different characters. I understand that it expels you but it is exactly the same situation but without logging in with the same account. It even happens if I have only 1 active account in the game.

    Hi @Gix ty for replaying, i have good internet connection, almost 1G Up and down, so maybe that its not the problem.
    in this case how i can fix this? because maybe thats the problem. Im fresh new on "problems" with D2 haahahah but yesterday i play a lot and its annoying all the time put my password and create a new room.
    i test and if a make a quick run (Diablo example) before BO expire, i can make another room easyly like always, but if i lost BO its time to go back and put paswords.

    Ty for Replaying and hope have some fix for this problem. (PC Wiindow 11, client from here - like all files. Playing this like for 5 month or more)

    this seems familiar i had the same problem a while ago... i asked gix but fixed it before he replied and probably missed it :) if it is the same tho i'd have to ask does it sometimes take longer than normal to get into the actual login.. and then your character menu.. mine use to take 3-5 minutes on login and same on the character menu.. after that entering a game and playing was fine until i left then it became a problem it'd kick me to the main menu to login again and this would only happen to 1/2 out of 3 total screens

    I have the same problem but this only happens when I leave creating a room and it is logged out, everything else doesn't happen to me.

    But you could solve all this???

    well that depends for me it was a port problem... so finally does it sometimes show you a warning at your character selection menu has something to do with port 6112... altho i suppose trying it won't hurt even if you aren't running into this error

    well im going to sleep now so i suppose i'll just give you a guide now so that if i am correct you won't have to wait

    Warning: I Have never personally done this on any Windows besides Windows 10 but as all other Windows, 11 Should have a similar/identical Firewall

    Step 1: Locate Windows Defender Firewall and Open it
    Step 2: Enter Advanced Settings
    Step 3: Locate Inbound Rules
    Step 4: Below "Actions" select "New Rule..."
    Step 5: Rule Type: Port (option 2)
    Step 6: Protocol And Ports: TCP
    Step 7: Action: Allow the connection
    Step 8: Profile (i prefer to un-select "Domain" option here)
    Step 9: Name: name it and ignore description cause its not medicinal (Port 6112 Europebattle.net TCP) < what i named mine
    Step 10: Do all that again and instead at "Step 6:" you select "UDP"

    Good Luck :D and if there are any problems just Delete the Port.. and retry or not if your problem went away

    Other way is to allow it to bypass firewall on your Router but idk how to and it seems a bit sketchy then... since your network is accessing every device/idk in your house and if it is dangerous in anyway i'd rather not ;) (i haven't had any problems.. calculator still works)
