Solved Hidden close buttons on inventory screen

Hi!

I did these steps: D2 client + Launcher updates + cpu fix + autotele inject, and after a restart, this is what I see ingame (res 800x600):


Is this a known issue? Looking for an idea to fix it. Or should I just avoid clicking on the Launcher?

One more thing, probably can fit here. I noticed, that the Launcher update restores the original D2Client.dll (the one that eats the cpu alive). Why does it restore the original one instead of patching to the cpu-fixed D2Client.dll ? We are using a patched game version anyway. Why not integrate it for comfort?

 

Hey ameth! Nice to see you around, even though not in-game for a while.

Regarding the first issue (the one without exit buttons and with cut helm/ammu slot), this is something that happens to me as well in every fresh installation, even upon reinstall of OS. I don't recall this happening years ago, but it does at least in current ladder / current patch version.

My solution: use the wide screen patch. If you don't really want to play in 1080p, you can always change the resolution to a lower on, once in-game.

 

Latest redist x86 install solved the problem (reinstalled w11 lately, and forgot about it). Thx

each time we initiate a common command in our operating system we truly creating a little war in it.
the domino effect that we want to trick by using "ante rem(lat. before the event) causes malfunction to our brain. not because we dumb, but because any pc is way faster than us.
and, thank heavens we humans possess creativity while pcs not, which counters that domino effect through simplicity - just reinstall program xD

i used to have this issue pretty close too, but i never forgotten how i got over: i just installed the "installer.exe"
