Lure players to forum

if my memorys are correct the majority of the players on the server use the forum rarely or even ~never.

How to change this ??

1. forum based games.

required resources:

1. new forum head topic 'games'
2. minor GM creativeness + activity
3. (extra: new forum currency (like thanks here) only accessable by admins to track player points easyer.)

method:

1. game master creates a topic with the games name
2. describes the task in the topic(+time limit +rewards +whatever)
3. GM makes a message in game "new forum game" visible for everyone.
4. gm rewards the best or best 3

game examples:

• finish all quests in classic hardcore - normal mode with a new caracter, name must start with 'RSAcod' like "RSAcodMadq". method to win: post 4 SS's each taken after completing an act (/time command is a must). first 3 gets reward!
• die from anderiel in CHC with a lvl1 char (no monsters may be killed in the process) named 'MomMom'xxx in a lvl1 only game. first wins! SS + /time is needed.
• GM makes quick a yes/no question table. first good solver get reward.
• and so on...

reward ideas:

1. minor reward + points(minor i mean like 'Gul' or some pgms or whatever, points explayned bellow)
2. major reward (a HR or a hr worthy item)
3. point reward
4. major + points .. etc
   
5. after every week the top 5 players with the most points get a big reward. 5 rewards gonna be set and the 1st player chooses first 2nd after him and so on. (this shoud be an item or an item pack) + all points are reset after this.

 

Want forums flooded just start forum gold.Currency can be used to trade with like j** site.Gix can even make a buck off this by sellin forum gold lol

 

not all forum engines support forum gold like "d2j**", dont know if this one does. If yes i wonder why isnt it implemented yet. I think my idea of mini games is great though

 

I used to love J**. I dont hate the idea.
