I want to know how the 10x rates affect MF .
So let's say i got 300 mf , now with 10x rates , i will have 3000? or how this works?
Someone clarify this please.

Is about server rate and not your personal rate.
If the server rate goes like 9 or 10%, even with a lower mf u can get a good item.
Your personal mf doesn't affect the server rate or viceversa.
That 300 mf will work only for you and if the server rate, like i said before, goes 8-10%(more chances and more unique itemes, runes, etc) and if you're lucky you'l be able to get a good item(s). Otherwise, if the drop rate goes under 2%, even with 500+ mf you won't be able to get good items, unless you're way too lucky and making way too much runs.

For example, drop rate increase the chance for runes and items, but mf doesn't affect the chance of runes, only increase chance for items, unless two unique from a run, you can get 3, 4, etc.

So what's the criteria when server rates drops/ups?? based on players online at that moment?

Yep, that i heard too, but i don't think that can be only reason. For everyone the drop rate remain an enigma.

Probably only blizzard would be able to give an exact answer to this. However it's been said to be better during more players online but as afro said, that's just an assumption over the years.

if you compare it to bnet, you will see that much more items drop here per monster.
also as afro said, mf doesnt affect the number of items but the quality more mf means higher chance to find magic/rare/unique/set items.
you can test this if you farm areas with low mf, you will drop a lot of white items. but if you farm areas with lets say 400 mf you will experience more magic items.
but in the end it doesnt matter how much mf you have got, if you dont have luck you wont find good items. so my advice is to focus on killspeed not on mf % usually the mf from enigma and shako is enough

Yes, mf from shako and enigma is perfect, i can approve what bglzabord said :)

With that mf i found shard, sacred armor, diadem, Coa, spired helm and other very good items.

I`ll just add that mf affects your drops MOSTLY from the non-BOSS drops. Because just as Bglzaborg said. Magic find gives you a higher chance of instead of getting a low quality item, a rare/unique one. Therefore as here drop is 10x and bosses almost only drop uniques. MF will boost drops from any other monster in a much effective way.

but this again depends on what is valuable and what is not. example: mage plate; high mf means monster probably drops magic one instead of a superior white one. so if you farm for sockets (griswold etc.) always go without mf.

It is also good to note that, if you are using +gold find items or charms such as gheeds. Some potential uniques/rates etc will be replaced with gold. So avoid gf gear when mfing.
Good luck!

Shako + eni is enough mf. Gf does not effect the item drops.

As far as I have it in mind from my old days of modding the censored *cought cought* out of the game I learned that MF is, as already mentioned is not about the quantity of the items but for the quality.
Also does MF not only have good sides but a bad side too.
The problem is, that items have a priority for MF to catch up and that is:

Broken/Crap Stuff
White Stuff
Socketed Stuff
Blue
Yellow
Unique

To make that priority simple (it's actually a bit more complicated).
Thus meaning, high MF giving a better chance to get yellows and uniques but for that you lose the chance to get socketed stuff. Thus it's sometimes wise to farm your stuff MF free, to gain good items which you then craft with runewords.
