D2 Experience: Well I had my fair share of experience from the "official realms" and also played on many "privates" so I think it's been sometime since I start playing the game. I have been playing here since 2012 if I remember corectly.
D2 GM Experience: None at all.
Reasons you feel that would qualify you as a good Game Master Apprentice: Well I consider myself a really helpful person and I feel i can help others with my experience I have gained over the years. I am used with handling people since I do this for a living and also I have interacted with many online people back in my WoW days and with some of them i speak on a daily basis. Always lending out a hand for those who need it , I provide rushes and enchants to new people when i'm loged on. I consider myself to be a friendly person and have a good sense of humor but at the same time I will always treat everyone fair and equal and I will always be impartial when taking a decision.

I will be more active on both forum and main channel in-game. I had to do some extra time @ work and came verry late home from the office,didn't have that much time to login..but I am working on that.

 

I understand that and I will try to improve that, I wasn't trying to make an excuse about my lack of activity on the forum/main channel, I was just saying there are somedays i can't login, you know how it is , you come late from work or you just have personal issues to take care of.

 

Good to know that, i assume there is no point to continue this ,like i've said in my previous reply i will improve my activity both on the forum and on the main channel.

 

I suppose that being active in-game is just as important as what you do with that activity. Rushing players is always a nice thing to do, but I don't think rushing really fits in the category of what a GM should be focusing on ultimately. Here are a few things I think would be appropriate duties that should be actively carried out by a Diablo II Game Master

1. Scanning for bots. Logging any suspicious activity and submitting it to the GM Board under your own Activity-Log thread or respond to your original Activity Log thread if it already exists so that spam doesn't occur.

2. Promoting/Spreading word about the server, Voting (Daily), Referring friends

3. Enforcing standard rules without abusing power or working against jurisdiction.

4. Being involved in the community, especially on the forums. Members ask for help, write suggestions, report users and much more all from this vBulletin. What good is all that data if nobody reads it? I believe it is our duty as a Game Master to be aware and actively involved with the communities concerns, ideas, and needs.

I assume you speak at least two languages seeing that you are from Romania and can fluently read/write English. Are you fluent in other languages as well? If you are, that is always a plus. When I served as Game Master I found that my hardest job was helping those that "could not understand / couldn't be understood by" me. Maybe a translator position could be accommodated in some way? It would be a very helpful service to all of us if somebody would offer it.

We could use more support in the Hardcore realm. Campaigning is more or less what would be needed other than just being apart of playing on it. Finding ways to get somewhat of a balance between Softcore and Hardcore would be a very nice accomplishment I think.

This is just a few things on the list that I can think off right off the bat. If every GameMaster that was apart of the community had this type of prioritization and the dedication to get the work done efficiently. I think our professionalism as a server wouldn't be far from Blizzard's.
