    Here I will post some builds for player versus monsters . Who want to add something can do it

    SORCERESS

    I. Lightning Sorceress
    II. Cold (Blizzard) Sorceress


    I. Lightning Sorceress

    Skill Points

    -1 teleport
    -1 warmth
    -1 static field
    -1 frozen armor
    -20 charged bolt
    -20 lightning
    -20 chain lighting
    -20 lightning mastery
    -20 nova



    Gear
    Helm 1 diadem 2 shako
    Armor 1 chains of honor 2 skin of viper
    belt 1 arachnid 2 war belt
    boots 1 sandstorm trek 2 battle boots
    shield 1 storm shield 2 spirit 3 sanctuary 4 moeser
    weapon 1 eschuta's templer 2 oculus 3 heart of the oak
    gloves 1 magefist 2 tarangul gloves
    amulet 1 mara's amulette
    rings 1 stone of jordan and bul-katos ring 2 bul-katos and raven frost
    on spawn use a call to arms and spirit/liles

    Strength how much you need to use your items
    Dexterity (if you use storm shield put dexterity to make 75 chance to block with a raven frost ring)

    Here's a different take on your lightning sorc build, howevr it is very reliant that you have a Infinity at hand. I used this build when playing on South African D2 server with my HC sorc. Since HC is about survivability and not just max damage.


    I. Lightning Sorceress

    Skill Points
    -1 teleport
    -1 warmth
    -1 static field
    -1 frozen armor
    -20 Telekensis
    -20 lightning
    -20 chain lighting
    -20 lightning mastery
    -1 Energy Shield
    - Rest of skill points between Nova and Charged Bolt.


    Gear
    Helm:Griffons / shako
    Armor:CoH / Skin of Viper
    Belt: Arachnid
    Boots:Sandstorm trek
    Shield: Spirit Monarch / Lidless with Diamond
    Weapon: Comes down to preference but - Eschutahs 3/20/x/x / Hoto
    Gloves: Depends on if you using x2 Soj rings or x2 FCR rings. IF x2 Soj's equipped - Magefist. IF two fcr rings - Frostburn
    Ammy: Mara's amulet
    Rings: Comes down to preference, either x2 FCR rings or X2 Sojs
    On Switch: CTA + Spirit/Lidless


    Stats points

    Str - Enough for gear
    Rest of stats into Vitality.


    Mercenary


    This is where this build becomes dependant, your merc needs to tank and you need the infinity since your damage won't be too high.
    Helm: Andy's helm - Easy enough to find
    Ammy: Highlord's
    Amour: Fortitude
    Belt: String of ears
    Ring: Any ring basically with LL
    Boots: Gore Rider
    Gloves: Dracul's
    Weapon: Infinity - This is a must. Although when playing HC I did at first use Insight and it worked fine, waiting for those pesky immunes got irritating, so for my build Infinity.

    Torch & Anni required, and Light skillers is not a need, but you would like a few for extra damage.

    Im currently using this build on my lvl 93 sorc WorkWork SC Europe. I rarely ever get into situations where I struggle to survive, unless I make a mistake etc. Currently with the build I hit 20k Lightning damage, 10k Chain Lightning. And I easily run through the game. in 8p games it sometimes gets problematic without light skillers.

    Actually there is better item build for merc.

    For good merc you need good amount of hits(ias breakpoints calculation necessary), life leech, damage reduced, good damage, good defense/phisical resist, @resists, curse reduction + str etc.

    Best build would look like this:

    Weapon: ETH Thresher or Giant Thresher Infinity(Because of IAS breakpoint for Thresher or GT is needed=75, also ranges are Thresher = 2 and GT = 3)
    Armor: Treachery bugged eth armor(preferably with 15 ed) - provides lvl 15 Fade cast chance(must have for good defense) + 45 ias
    Belt: Your suggestions are good. I use eth Verdungo.
    Boots: Eth upped Gores(upping sometimes reduce def, sometimes adds. your call)
    Helm: Eth bugged Andy with 15 ias jewel(preferably with damage to demons or damage to undead added to 15 ias mod). Now andy gives + 35 ias/ few k of defense / str / life leech
    // you have 80 ias now. needed 75. check //
    Amulet: Seraphs, because of + damage to demons and undead which makes your merc's attack a lot stronger. 50% damage to demons adds 1/2 to your merc's damage when it attacks undead or demons.
    Ring: Raven frost(most times) / Natures peace(Nith) / Dwarf star( Travi and Meph lvl Councils).

    Gloves: Eth Draculs - life tap, life leech and str / amazing choice

    If you have good def yourself, instead of freeze/defiance merc use might merc.

    es in pvm is trash.. mana burn lower dmg etc..
    merc doesn't need dracs u just need some ll .. treachery was considered good on the original patch because u can't equip glowes belt amus there and infy has 40 cb so the highter ias bp's allowed merc to proc cb more.But here u can use highlords + 20 ias glowes and u already reach 40 ias with andy jeweld that's 75 or u could use gulli + 15 ias and nos belt 10 ias + ll and eth bugged forty for 56 ias setup with ca or cv.If u use treachery make it in a low def armor and non bugged helm the whole point of treachery is to proc the fade so merc doesn't get decrept'd for hours on bal waves and has good rezist/dr. U can do the math(cba now cause late) but i think ias gulli nos belt 20 ias glwoes + highlords+ forty +cv/ca infy dose more dps then treach highlord ias gulli.Also i just read about the seraphs imo 3x % double dmg vs all minions >50% dmg vs specific minions

    why would you need max block on a PVM lite sorc?

    DS applies only on just 1/3 of hits.
    Seraphs gives guarateed extra dmg to every hit.
    ETH Thresher does 4.5 hits/sec

    As the third monster type is animals - if you check them, they're the ones your merc mostly 1hits every time.

    So when it comes to math, in worst case scenario seraph helps to do more damage when cleaning CS or other areas, where you go most.
    unless you need those 20 ias for breakpoint.

    Just noticed this
    You want dracs, because of poisonous vipers knockback + poison or the fact, that ll doesnt work on bosses and bosses do still tend to hit merc hard.
    Bosses do 200% dmg to merc, merc does like 25% of his dmg to them. So, you still want that. As long as your mercs gear is complete(its long before gloves) you can use dracs as super-safety item, or laying's or crafted gloves with cb, ll, str etc.

    let me guess u play with tgods and storm shield on your pvm chars to right ? Only thing u need in pvm is speed/damage anything else is insignificant.

    when you ask question, do the wise thing and make at least some note, who are you targeting your question at.
    me, no, for caster at this server that would be wasting potential damage. it is insignificant to me, but for some it might not be.
    tho it's not uncommon for people to use ss.

    Using frozen orb/mana shield with some lightning for those resistants myself and been at it for while since on old server blizzard simply wasnt viable but im experienced there also. Writing this off cell so if u need any advice or want me to post setup write up here or pm me ingame acc name : cveba and ill do it once i get off work ;).

    For blizzard, in electric three only put 1 point to Static Field? Why not in telekinesis? I mean in NM or Hell where the mobs have resistence to cold attacks

    sorc don't need raven in pvm even if block build - it gives only 20 dex - equals 40 hp, ring fcr 40+hp ++ is better.
    infinity for cold sorc???? useless >_< monsters have ~50 rez, cold mastery should be -150rez, u don't even need 20 hard points in this skill and certainly do not need infy. infy will not help you to kill cold immunes. cold sorc should give merc reaper's toll (eth) or insight.

    i saw the guide and was just wondering if a orb sorc was any good, if so maybe I could get a guide on that? I built this one with max orb max cold max bolt and 1 point sheild 1 tele 1 static. Was wondering if anyone could suggest something? I am mfing with this sorc. I heard I can reset my stats. Would appreciate the help guys

    I play orb sorc myself, you will have enough points to go max telekinese.
    Your skill distribution is good.
    Max telekinese combined with energy shield, will make you lose 0.75 mana for every 1 dmg taken.
    Put all stats in mana, only enough str for gear.
    You can put a few points in vita if you are not using Cold + HP skillers.

    A little edit to this - if you're lacking + HP skillers your sorc will be with very low hp, which also can be turned into a huge benefit for low geared orber.
    If you use Hear of the Oak (HOTO) + some extra replenish life from jewels, ring or something else you will get hit for lets say 100 hp and 500 mana - the replenish life from the items will heal you very fast and sufficient (especially if you're using an ACT II merc with Prayer aura)
