What is your favorite run?

What is your best run for get elite items and hrs? Tyraels, coa, griffon. Bers, jah, zod...
Baal? Nilah? CS? Pit? At?

This seems interesting topic well i got good drops like griffons eye,templers might,thundermaul unique 2 ber runes,5 or 6 ohms,4 vex runes many guls,ums,puls,jah,deathweb,crowns of ages and shadow dancers from nithalak.
From baal unique sacred armor,ist rune,gul rune,vex rune,mal rune,deathweb,2 griffons eye,archon staff unique,3 shadow dancers,5 or 6 coas.
From diablo eth andariels visage only.
Pits dropped me jah,sur,Lo,my first deathweb in diablo 2 ever was 2/49 i think.
Ancient tunnels ohm rune from superchest um puls.
Cows:3 cham runes,zod rune,3 ber rune,sur rune,5 or 6 Los,8ohms
Wsk lvl3:unique cadeduce
Throne room wave 2:2 cham runes
Objects:Lo rune from sparklechest in abandon area another in pit of archon,jah rune from object in icy cellar,jah rune from tomb near sparklechest in halls of pain,ohm from at superchest,Lo rune from Lower kurast superchest,gul rune from pit of archon sparklechest.

I run pretty much all the lvl85 areas, the bosses, Pindle+Nih, cows, sometimes Travi and rarely Meph.

My strategy is to speed-grind one area at a time until I get bored and then move to another one.

In my opinion a key factor to be an effective farmer is to find the balance between damage, speed, survivability and abit of magic find.

There is not a sure way to get the elite items or highest runes, because it's all luck. More time farming always equals better results.

 

I like to run around them nekkid chicks at the beach. It is very satisfying when something drops there, because they bent over to pick it up

 

There's nothing wrong with dropping the soap, picking it up can be tricky though.

You can't really find everything you want at one place, for runes you can farm Cows, Travincal, Chaos Sanctuary. Even though you can find runes basically everywhere, those are the places they drop the most and are areas you can farm efficiently over and over again.
I have had very pleasant experience with Travincal lately, if you decide to run there you need to understand something though - don't pick up all of the items that drop there. I usually ignore amulets, rings , well basically everything. The things I pick up are Eth SS's , Titans and some of the rare stuff. I can't tell you how many runs I've done, because I'm not counting them, but I have found 3 chams, 3 or 4 Jah's and 1 Ber. I'm not gonna list the lower ones.
If it is uniques you are after and you have a strong will - Nihlathak is probably the best place. I have found every single item there, except for a blue TM. Usually the first couple thousand runs the drop sucks, but then it compensates pretty quickly. I have done like ~6k runs there - Cham, 2x Bers and a Jah, in items ( those I found more than one, the ones that aren't listed here I have found only once ) - Death's Web, Dimensional Shard, Griffon , Crown of Ages.
If you are not really into repetitive runs you can farm any 85 area , different people have better results in different areas, but it is pretty much the same. Focus more on killing speed rather than MF-ing. You will need to do a lot of repetitive runs in any area you choose in order to find the better items, but farming there is a lot more involving compared to farming Nihlathak.

 

When I got boring to do only 1-3 places, I do complete runs and it is so much fun!

I am fond of chaos/wsk runs. Too bad they require an Infinity to run on my meteorb Sorc :'(

Whit my pala hammer i do griswold + legs then cow then countess pit andy the invocator duriel 2 big chest in lw travi mephisto and his chest. Full river and chaos clean. Didi then nilha then baal i just kill big boss on wsk way to throne. In players 3 in sologame whit a barb for BO me it take 35 mins or 30.dropped griffon on baal and sur runes in CS.
Dropped ik and tal armor too.
No gc for the moment on the big bosses and some low runes ohm vex a lot one time Lo on meph chest

Whit my sorc who have no infinity like u i mostly do keys farm.
