Create a challenge for me!

Hi guys,

since the rest of the week is supposed to be rainy in central europe, I would like you to create a d2 related challenge for me! The way i picture it: you will pick class, which i will be playing on hardcore and set up the goals and conditions, under which they can be fullfilled... I will then play it and keep you informed with some sort of journal here in this thread.

edit: to narrow the options - your suggestions should be on which build/skills I will be allowed to use, any equipment restrictions etc.

So, cmon guys, hit me!

I'm challenging you to chase the chicken (from 1act) to Blood Raven while using a druid.
Conditions: It must be done in a hell difficulty. You can't use any faster run walk items/charms, teleport skill and your Run (R) toggle must be off all the time.

P.S.
I'm also challenging you to find and kill a stone skin+physical immune monster while using a melee character/attack.
Conditions: It mus be done in a hell difficulty (Obviously). You can't use any "chance to cast" items or a mercenary. Also, you can't use these skills: Charged Strike, Berserk, Vengeance, Enchant and any summons.

P.P.S
And this one is easier if you'll figure out that those two are almost impossible to do:
I'm challenging you to kill the Diablo with a bow.
Conditions: It must be done in a hell difficulty. You only can use Paladin class. You can't use a mercenary, any auras or an enchant.

 

Well, while it sounds fun, i will still have to create a new character and make it to hell in a first place

 

And what will be the goal, besides finding runes for beast, to actually start playing like a werebear sorc?

 

Hi um i have a interesting challenge for u
do a hell walkthrough without healing potions,no hp regen things and no resists

 

I'll drop my idea here, just something that I would actually challenge myself to do if I had the time. You can add or change some stuff to make it more interesting. It sounds fun in theory, but it will probably be abit of a struggle to complete.

Get a hero through all difficulties in Hardcore, the conditions are:
- Strictly self found, trading or muling is not allowed
- Rare items cannot be used - only white, magic, rare and runewords
- Builds that cannot be used: Summoner Necro/Druid, Enchant Sorc
- Player should run solo, no other players are allowed
- Player should post his gear at levels 20, 40, 60 or in the end of each difficulty
- Mercs are allowed, but again should not use any unique items
- Self buffing and potting is allowed
- Grind farming for gear is also allowed

That's pretty much it, tell me what you think.

 

TBH, i like this one the most so far Since i wanted to do something like that - untwinked char with restrictions

Bear druid it is.

No farming in terms of repetitive killing bosses and cleaning areas.

Which items will be allowed? We already banned rares. So there are White, magic, rw, set, unique and crafted left.

 

Well, Im not sure about streaming, since Ive never done that before, but I will try to make report with screenshots and videos of battles with act bosses etc...

Regarding the items, I would like to make it a bit challenging, so im not against banning rares and such.. We will see what forumites decide

 

Yeah, fixed the rules abit. I meant uniques are not allowed, not rares, so rare/blue/white/runewords should be used only.

About the farming, I thought it's fair to allow it since it's for fun and if you do it the iron-man way it's going to be a real pain imo.

But you decide what rules to accept, it's you doing the challenge after all.

Ok, so final rules for this challenge are:
- werebear druid
- hc
- untwinked [only self found items will be used, no muling, trading, etc]
- all but unique items allowed [applies for merc aswell]
- solo play
- goal is to defeat Baal on Hell difficulty and earn Guardian title while having all quests and WPs on all difficulties completed
- post gear after each difficulty completed
- no farming allowed [this might change, if i will get stuck at some place and will not be able to continue forward without gear improvement - you will be informed]

 

I think it's interesting, in principle, you can play, but let me see, for this there is Pvp. This is created to equal skill with other players, otherwise it turns out to be some kind of rebus)

there will be a huge update in the evening. I am currently A5 NM - gaming aint that easy with 5 weeks old child But Im progressing quite easy so far... As I said, ill post some pics and videos in the evening
