Solved cant even launch game win10

    GameGuard pops up big shield guy in middle of my screen then goes away nothing happens after that ive read the other 2 win10 threads done everything listed in them and nothing has helped me yet

    anti virus and windows defender are both off + even gave permission with them off
    UAC is off
    have no 3rd party antivirus nothing

    for me it only works with window mode(-w in shortcut) and windows xp compability, have you tried that?

    yup -w on shortcut and game, launcher, usabattle exe's are set to win xp sp2

    can you run the game without the GameGuard (does another exe loads the game) ?, if you can then it looks like an issue with applying the patch, i would try reinstalling diablo and the europebattle.net patch.
    otherwise its diablo issue, try running the D2VidTst.exe (also under windows xp sp 2 compability) and then the game itself

    @rofl, I've seen the chat logs and he was typing into the main channel so guess he could run the game without the guard. Something is messing up the software compatibility and most likely running with admin privileges. Usually this is solved by simply reinstalling the client (download the portable version and extract it again) and running it as admin, however it's very important that a clean uninstall is being performed before that.

    i got it figured out i did full reinstall and skipped all the capability things just installed d2 + usabattle.net installer and worked flawless

    As I said, a complete game reinstall usually solves most of the problems. Glad you got it working, welcome aboard.
