Efficient cow

Hello everyone.

Im at a stage i can do cows fairly quick. opening the chests seems to take more time then the actual killing.
Is it still worth the extra time to open them?

 

I read you should never pass up a chest because it may hold a Zod

 

or a gg jewel

 

i always wondered the same... in some runs i didnt get the chests, in others i did.. sometimes they can have good runes and jewels, but its rare, i suppose its all luck with the game! if anyonw could calculate the chances of a good rune to drop via chest and via cow we could have a comparison(might be very hard to do), but still i think luck and percistence is the key! I usually open more than half cause the adrenaline rush from a gg chest is goood!!

 

NAH opening chests aint worth opening COW lvl is in ACT 1 that means all chest drops in act 1 are limmited to gul/vex rune so better kill cows rather than opening chest in there

 

Can it really only drop up to vex from chests? If thats true there aint no reason to open them

 

nah u are wrong once i got ber or was jah from chest from cow level

 

Drop is influenced by "Zone Level" so for example "The Pit" in Act 1 which is level 85 can drop a Zod. Act 1 is just a name


More on the topic, i always bother to open every chest because if i don't the thought of there being a good rune in there will haunt me

 

Keep opening them. I don`t try to open all of them, however I do as much as possible without loosing extra time. I got so far few Lo
and Ohm runes.

 

According to d2wiki area levels don't apply to the TC for chests or other objects. The highest rune that can drop from a object is universal for every act. The guide was written for v1.10 but I'd imagine it's still the same, couldn't find anything that says otherwhys.

• Act 1 (H) Objects can drop up to Vex (r26).
• Act 2 (H) Objects can drop up to Lo (r28).
• Act 3 (H) Objects can drop up to Ber (r30).
• Act 4 (H) Objects can drop up to Cham (r32).
• Act 5 (H) Objects can drop up to Zod (r33)

 

Act 2 can drop Jah at Tal rasha room
Act 3 can drop Cham at sewer, trav, n durance hate

 

Show us video of u getting a jah rune drop from an objects in act 2 and a cham rune from an object in act 3 lol

 

they are talking about runes from object like chests etc.

 

Owh sorry I use barb itemfinding n exist hrs.. not object. The higher hr i got on Act 3 is Ber on 2 x stash not Cham
