Solved Can't enter to the server

    I launch the game as administrator, the game guard window opens, then the big boy of gameguard appears in the screen, then nothing else happens. I have windows 8. The antivirus is off.

    - Delete any diablo game folder you may have previously installed
    - Go to start, type regedit.exe then find and delete the following folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II
    - Run DiabloII_113c_Portable and extract the game in a different folder this time, let's say C:\Games\Diablo2
    - Run EuropeBattleInstaller.exe and select your game folder or get the EuropeBattle.zip archive and replace files manually
    - Set compatibiliy mode to XP Service Pack 2 and check Run as Administrator too for all executable files
    - Run the game icon located on your desktop or you can manually create a shortcut of Game.exe to your desktop and run the game in window mode as shown here.

    Note: For newer operating systems like windows 10 it may be necessary to set compatibiliy mode so make sure you do that for all executable files.
