How to make snakes proof sorc?

Hi!

I want to farm some dest keys. I have coh, anni, torch, spirit, soled shako, cta, nature peace, ... But when there are snakes at Nith I die before I even manage to escape to town. I use ES, fronsen armor, bo.

Any suggestions?

 

Be an Lite sorc

 

USE DAMAGE REDUCED ITEMS - for example - COA , SHAKO, ENIGMA,COH, UNIC STORMSHIELD, BELTS , and so . make it about 40 but no more then 50 and you will survive. MAX BLOCK Helps a lot too

 

Had storm shield but it didnt have much effect.

 

Consider different strategies depeding on the amount of snakes surrounding Nitha.
Sometimes your target must be the snakes and then go kill nitha, otherwise you`ll be dead if you go just for Nitha.

 

1 thing u should make ur hands faster at pressing hotkeys for potions just practice it myself as a light sorc.

 

none of above really good answer .

I do max block+ 45 dmg reduced - stay in the middle of there poison and do not loose more then 200-300 life .
IF doing it with energy shield sors. loose about 500 -1000 mana

 

Same as tonkatabg .. i use 35 dmr reduce, max block , es with max telekinesis and for 20k+ nihla runs I have zero problems with snakes.

TBH u should take advice from those players who farm nithalak on hardcore With sorcerers like @colder ,@ErrorIRL ,@offline ,@MMladenov , @aBUCHa EtC take tips from these pepes and u will be good

Also make hammerdin for running dkeys and u wont have a single death with hammerdin did like 10k nith runs last month not a single death but Make sure u always have ur hands on those hotkeys for full rejuvs take this path only if u are rich enough to make hammerdin

Where does it come from?

Why this? And max?

Does this hammerdin have anything special? Like Ber/Sol in zaka or Ber/Sol in shako? Or maybe even COA? Or is it just normal hammerdin with standard stuff?

 

i don't farm Nihlathak on HC with my sork.
for Nihl runs I specifically create Hammerdin(125%fcr).
it's more save and faster.

 

For energy shield sors telekiness on max or at least 16 is a MUST , otherwise doesn't worth it .
DMG reduce comes 10 from shako and 35 from stormshield. if you use COH you will have extra 8 (5) .

You can choose everything , but I am telling you how to do it on HARDCORE like a pro . works for Softcore too

IF I do it with neckromanser I use MAX BLOCK and at least 24 DMG REDUCE ,and However with the neckro you have to be fast and watch where you do teleport

Hammerdin setup of mine i will assure u he will mostly never experience death if he does odds are 1/1000k times
Helmet: Shako with Shael rune
Shield: my personal favourite shield sacred target 45 all resistance spirit 35 fcr
Weapon:Hoto
Switch cta+Spirit shield
Gloves:magefist
Belt: archanids sash
Rings: soj+1 fcr ring
Amulet: maras
Boots: sandstorm trekes for poison length etc
Armor: enigma any choice of ur armor type

Strength: invest some for equipping enigma
Thing is that it should be max blocked with holy shield 75% meaning some points in dexterity till it reachws 75% blockrate with buff of battle command and holy shield
Rest of points vitality

Inventory
All cs paladin gcs,anni,torch and horadric cube

Gameplay:
Go to halls of pain wp.Buff him with battle command,bos and holy shield. Auto tele with him to halls of vaught.again auto tele to nithalak and u will jump automatically on him with autotele making it eaiser to kill him faster with hammers before targeting him first.if u encounter snakes let ur merc die first since snakes deal tons of damage while ur merc is alive so yeah then u can kil them happily. Snakes wont deal u that much damage to u when ur against them without merc


Merc gear act 2 holy freeze or might aura
Helmet: Eth anderiels with ias jewel
Armor: fortitude
Gloves: draculs or laying of hands
Rings: ravenfrost
Belt: nosferatus
Boots: goblin toes or gore riders
Amulet: Highlords
Weapon: best weapon in my opinion is insight on etherial thresher or etherial giant thresher with 6 critical strike+good enhanced damage and 15+ Meditation aura.

 

One of the ways to do Nih runs is to use blizzard sors and take him from distance WITHOUT MERK . HE CAN NOT do Explotion because no one dies and usualy dies in 1 or 2 blizzards .

However I am using Light nova sors because looks more fun for me .

 

Nithalak has no magic immunity so hammerdin is GG to run him off easy runs

 

Its pretty interesting i usually did few nithalak runs and runs per game with hs buff only is 0:14 or 0:15 seconds.
Butt its risky too u never know when u get amplify cursed by nithalak and snakes kill ya off.
