i only farm Uber and dclone. i allready have;

Grief pb
highlord + raven + dwarf
dracul
goblin toe
now i need an armor, belt and shield but i cant decide.
According to my opinion;
Coh > Forty > Duress (cant afford Enigma)
Hoz > Exile > 4pdiamond rondache
String of ears > Tgod > verdungo
what do you think?

 

There's not a big difference between forty and duress regarding killing speed, CoH just being the most defensive choice.
If you want to upgrade you should focus on Exile imo, the higher chance to pop lifetap will save ur day.
And I wouldnt recommend String of Ears. TG's will boost your str/vita and provides light absorb, Dungo is a huge boost in vita. The %dam reduce can be completly ignored in ubertrist since the main dmg you encounter will be magic based.

 

I do ubers only for exp at 8players (hardcore) in less than 4mins:
I`d like to share my experience, i`m pretty much satisfied:

- amulet: mara (2all, 5all atr, +30@rez)
- rings: raven (cannot be frozen) + wisp (20%l)
- boots: goblin toes (25% cb)
- gloves: crafted (20ias , cb, ow), currently i`m using 20ias/3% life steal/9% cb/ 11 life/ 26 light rez/ 10 poison rez [amazing pair indeed]
- weapon: (eth) lacerator - 33% Chance to cast Amlify Curse
- armor: duress (15%cb, 33%ow)
- helmet: gulli face (35%cb) + jewel 15i%ias
- shield: HoZ
- belt: verdungo (fhr,vita,%dmg reduce)
- inventory: many cs pals

Total:
FHR - 88% (duress[40%]+gulliface[30%]+verdungo[10%] + large charm[8fhr] - // fhr cap: 86%
CB: 84% (duress[15%]+goblin[25%]+gloves[9%]+gulliface[35%])
OW: 66% (duress[33%]+lacerator[33%])
IAS: 65% - smite ias frame without fanatism 13%/30%/60%/129%. I`m aiming the 3rd frame (60%) while using conviction [explains the jew in the gulliface]
REZ: 120%++ at hell
DMG: 2618-2783 (using fanatism) [still can be improved] // with merc aura 3167-3361
Life: ~5500+ (with bo barb, i don`t use CTA at hardcore)

In this server, where full rejuvs. can be find in the shop - no need to have life tap. So you can use Amlify Curse (great impact) and do not have any trouble killin em in less than 4mins at 8players.

Everything (except the gloves) can be found in travincal, so i suppose this build is not that expensive as well.

Important:
Never walk alone. Use merc. He will always sacrifice himself for you. And his aura will help you as well.
Basic merc gear (also from travincal):
- armor: -Treachery ( 45% ias + 15lvl fade)
- gloves: -Laying of Hands (20% ias/ 50% fire rez/ 350% dmg to demons)
- boots: -Goblin toes (25% cb)
- belt: -Thundergod (10% max light rez+20% light absorb)
- amu: -Highlord (20% ias+ 34+% deadly strike+ 35%light rez)
- helmet: -Blackhorn (20%fhr+Prevent Monster Heal + Slow Targets 25%+ 15% light rez + 20%light absorb) amazing easy to find helmet + jew 15%ias
- weapon: - (eth) Hone Sundan - upgraded. Amazing easy to find weapon. (up to 200%ed + 3 sock(if ohm = 350% ed), 45% CB). Can be socked with everything Um(ow 25%/ Amn- 7%life steal)

Total:
IAS: 110% (treachery[45%]+highlord[20%]+gloves[20%]+jew-helmet[15%] - Ias Merc Frames with Ghost Spear without fanatism - 9/20/37/63/105/200 - we are aiming 105 ias cap
CB: 70% (weapon[45%]+boots[25%]
Light rez: Great amount of light absorb and rez - We must notice that conviction doesn`t affect merc, so his survaivability is a serious issue.

P.S.: @Nopik Great guide, i can only disagree with maxed defiance ( paladin secret passives (rez auras) are way too strong to be underestimated.

 

Do i have to use Conviction if i use Kira's ?
Uber Mephisto's lvl20 conviction has -%125 res aura, so i will still have maxed resistances if i use Fanaticism.

 

ohh that was not that hard was my 1st uber.
used Fanaticism on mephisto with no problem.
used potion only for baals mana leech.

Btw 86 fhr is enough, no need 99.

 

My build for ubers - is fire absorber.
Yes, it uses grief (tried black runeword, dont like it).

Helm: Guillaumes face
amu: highlord
weapon: "black" in a knout
Armor: "duress" in a mage plate
Shield: exile in eth sacred rondarche
gloves: draculs
Rings: Raven frost/Dwarf Star
Belt: Thundergod
Feet: Goblin Toe

Skills:
20 Holy Shield
20 Fanatism
1 Smite
20 Conviction
10 in resist lightning and fire


My resistances are not really good (31f, 68c, 79l and 57p), but I don't have any problems. On my first run I died 3 times to mephisto, but then I maxed conviction and now he dies in seconds!

Only problem is the minions, it takes quite a long time to kill them :-\

 

Yeah I know but I don’t wanna swap and I don’t die and beat all the ubers easily, so I actually don’t see any need to do that

Why is important to make 8 ppl game for ubers ?!

 

Fast mechanics TLDR:
if you are alone in the game and spawn the bosses, meaning you can see them (if you have something like stings MH it's enough to see them on the map by name), then the bosses going to have player one multipliers no matter how many people join the game afterwards. You can figure the rest...

build same as colder (without the weapon, I don't have it) and it works perfect !
No change of dying !
