Dropped a ton of gems/jewels running pits all night and the only uniques were a Jalals and an 3/10/11 eschutas.
Question is why run there in the first place?!? Just run Nith or cows for better time investment. Dont forget - time is money, friend!
Pit level 1 and 2 is a level 84+ Area just like Halls Of Pain, so in both locations, every item in the game has a chance to drop. Edit: You are right @sphinx25 but still the same drop.
This is true .. yes, but I have personally never had good luck there. Auto-tele to Nith and cows has been the best for me.
Allow me a small correction pls: Halls of Pain is a lvl 84 area, not 85, but mobs are shown, at least by my Sting, to drop from TC87, so the last sentence is correct. Overall, where to farm is a matter of personal preference (including apparently irrational arguments), but there's one recipe that always produces results, in the long run: perseverance. I.e. nothing dropped? no problem, do it again. And a pinch of luck is always welcome....
I thought nith had poison cloud bug from snakes and even with natures, i feel too risky to do it on a sorc =/ I'm doing pits to find griffon's eye since so many circlets drop. Also, so many jewels and gems because i only have 1 clean light facet at the moment and a 40/15 jewel would be nice Figured it's a good investment and it's safe/easy. I've dropped a Jah here since i started.
i'd love to be running pits with a poison/CE necro to be honest.. but can't find what i need to make it lol.
I wouldn't turn down the help, though i'm on HC. I've never played anything but Lite Sorc and Hdin.. i've never had enough luck to find the necessary gear for anything else lol.
