Solved Cant pick up dead body

    Hi, im having the following problem: i got killed, then restarted the game and now i cant pick up my body, the matter is my inventory is empty, i dont care about the stuff but its very annoying to see the body on the ground everytime i join a game, any solution to this?

    Show us a screenshot of your character's inventory, is it completely empty? Were you using strength bug before?
    If current items are not important then try equipping a random item then let your character die, then save/exit and create a new game and try picking up the new corpse again.

    I dont even know what strenght bug iso_O, someone was rushing me hell (*goodblessamazon), i got killed before going baal, left the game, made new one and my body is next to the chest, and cant pick it up, my current inventory is completely empty, all i have is on the chest, horadric cube, etc, dont even have good gear yet, i started this amazon yesterday night.

    Did this with no luck at all.

    Empty your whole character; inventory belt and everything then equip a random item and let your character die, save/exit and create a new game and try picking up the new corpse again.
    Before trying this make sure /nopickup is disabled and turn off your maphack completely as well.

    I have the "integrated" maphack, how do i disable it?

    You can just backup your d2hackmap.cfg file to have all your settings saved and then remove everything inside of the document. Later you can overwrite back your old settings.

    Didnt work, disable autopick, maphack is off, but still cant pickup my body, there is any other way to solve this, if dont ill remove the character and make a new one.

    Before doing that message me in-game and I'll take a look at it.

    This has been fixed. What happened is that the horadric staff was picked up in act 2 on a certain difficulty, the player died and then he completed the quest so the staff remained on the corpse which he was unable to pick up due to it being a quest item belonging to a quest that has already been completed.
