This is my best memory entry.

I learned a valuable lesson in my life in this community a few years ago when I did a mistake and choose to lie instead of telling the truth. Since then i've been forgiven and welcomed back but it mirrored back to me some of my behaviours and throughout the years I understood that honesty and character are most valuable and people calling out truth and childish behaviour opened my eyes and changed me in good ways as a person.

Favourite memory:
The ladder before this one i was trying to finish an amazon char of my dreams, with full java skiller + frw inventory (and with certain skin as well). i only financed this one character, so i offered a lot of runes for these charms and were looking for them for a very very long time.
Now i never hid my opinion about item prices, i always said whats on my mind, so when i joined a random "s all on me" game, and asked for the price of an item and the seller said a rather high price, i said "wow thats way too much, not interested ty", and i left. Now the guy took it very personally, he knew i was looking for these charms, so on an alternate account he went into lobby and said "s java frw dragon skin".
I obviously messaged him and said i was interested, ready to make a good offer. I offered 5 bers which at the time was like 5x overprice (but i was easily ready to pay that much for it). Now the guy just wanted to tease me so he logged in on another alternate account, and wrote a higher offer into chat. At that time i didn't know it was the same guy, but i got a whisper from Gix, telling me to play into it
So i offered even more (and still ready to pay it) but i knew something was fishy. I think you can guess the end of the story, the guy made another fake offer from the alternate account, trying to make me mad, and then Gix (who was watching in silence) told him its against the rules to lash up prices from alternate accounts, and the guy got some punishment.
Conclusion of the story: I always get surprised about some ppl's childishness LMAO, why the hell did he get so mad?

and then the time when i rolled myself a jmod - no financial greed, just to get myself the item instead of buying it. after this, the only item i haven't ever got is the legendary 6 java 40ias amazon javelins (to this day)

From the moment I joined this server, I knew it was something special. Over the years, it’s become more than just a place to play—it’s a home filled with incredible people who share the same love for this legendary game. The late-night runs, the intense duels, and the friendships I’ve built here are memories I’ll always treasure.

I have to give a huge shoutout to GIX—without a doubt, the best admin around. He’s not just an admin; he’s the heart of this community. Always helpful, always fair, and always making sure things run smoothly. While all the admins do a great job, GIX goes above and beyond, and we’re lucky to have him.

To everyone in this amazing community—thank you for keeping the game alive and making it such a great place to be. Here’s to many more years of epic battles, great loot, and even better company!

I am, probably like most of you, an old school player, meaning that we played this game for the first time (very) long ago, in the early 2000's.

My favorite memory in this server is the very first time I got to know of its existence. That was not so long ago, 2020, shortly after the covid pandemic began. You know, lockdown, a lot of unexpected time at home... and somehow I thought of that game I played as a child. A google search rapidly brought me to D2 Europebattle. Installing the game (with the difficulties with MH, ddraw, crashes, etc etc... but at some point it worked) and starting my first character (obviously a sorc, because we called it sorc in the official servers back then, not soso ) was a f*cking good feeling. The first days I was so tired at work the day after... because I spent until late doing stuff here and there...

It still wonders me now how much D2 can make you hooked on it, even though we keep repeating the same story line, same bosses, same WP names, same NPCs, slightly different but quite similar builds... there is always something new to try out. At this point I would also like to recognize the good work of the D2 Europebattle staff when creating events and adapting the game with new patches (à la gem bag) every now and then.

In any case: long life D2 and long life D2 Europebattle!

A moment i will never forget is after so many years of playing the game, last week for the first time ever i've got cham rune. Eventually we'll get there

 

First of all i want to thank to every person responsible for having this great community, been playing on and off for the last 10+ years, a lot of good memories, one that comes to me is finding a zod rune from the sparkling chest in the nihlathak waypoint area, actually I have found every rune from there. Cheers

I have many beautiful memories in this community starting with the first game I played here which is MuOnline but I think in D2 my dearest memory was completing classic Hardcore and I won't forget that feeling, it's the same one when I did my first reset in MU. I want to thank everyone who is part of this community starting with the admins who offer their time to keep this peaceful place running and every nice player who is kind and helps others and makes the game experience so wonderful where everyone feels welcome. @Gix we know each other for many years before I was playing D2 and I'm proud to be part of what you created here 20 years ago, I wish you all the best and for the entire EuropeBattle community for another 20 years and more.
