    Hello,

a while back I sought some support as when the new launcher was introduced and as I was playing I would get a blacked out screen and wouldn't be able to do anything, even when playing on windowed mode. Nobody else apparently got this, so nobody was really able to help me with it.
For a month or two now I'm on a brand new PC, so I transferred the game from my old one, the launcher updated everything it needed to update, everything appeared to be working okay, but then I noticed that after a few minutes of playing down by the clock/notifications the whole area starts flickering with high speed, which let's be honest is quite annoying when you are playing on -w and can constantly see it. It will not stop even when I close the game completely. Does anyone know if this Win11 related or game related or maphack related or what seems to be causing this?

    Many thanks,

    me

Hey there @JivkoEnev, are you enabling the /fps command in game when you notice the flickering? Are you using any other 3rd party software other than the maphack itself?

I do normally use /fps and /nopickup when I'm playing Diablo 2. I don't use anything else aside from the maphack.

Disable /fps and see if you're still flickering, most likely that's what is causing it.
You can fix it by disabling G-SYNC in the NVIDIA settings individually, so only Diablo II is included.

Played for a while and /fps seems to be the issue for some reason. Disabling G-Sync is not possible for me, am using an RX 7900 XT. Thanks for the help!

You are welcome and if you are using AMD Radeon then disable MPO (Multiplane overlay) as it's been reported to cause a lot of flickering in general.
You can also try disabling FreeSync.
