Announcement Patch #15: Gamble Refresh, Auto Gold Pickup, D2GL and More

The demonic scrolls have spoken! Patch notes are live, enter the fray and see what hellish changes await in Sanctuary!

• Gamble refresh is now available

• Auto gold pick up has been added, it works only outside of town

• Increased player inventory gold limit to a fixed value of 5M, regardless of character level

• Increased gold trade limit to 5M as well

• Act 2 - Arcane Sanctuary's paths are now wider

• Anya resistance bug has been fixed

• Anya will now offer unlimited item personalization for gold

• Charsi will now offer unlimited imbues for gold (*) This is an experimental addition and may be changed at any point if it's too overpowered.

• Larzuk will now charge gold for each request

• Act 1 Mercenaries can now equip Amazon Only bows

• Axe Barbarian mercenary visual bug upon hiring has been fixed

• All mercenaries can now equip two rings instead of only one

• Mercenaries graphics have been updated to reflect the changes posted above

• Thunder Storm can now be cast in town

• Battle Command, Battle Orders and Shout can now be cast in town

• Find Item skill now includes the hidden synergy
  Find Potion synergy added: +1% Chance per level

• Mosaic Runeword has been reworked
  + 35% Crushing Blow
  + 30 - 40% Deadly Strike
  + Cannot Be Frozen

• The Grandfather is back, baby! Sort of...
  + 30% Crushing Blow
  + 25% Deadly Strike
  + 30% Open Wounds
  + 20 To All Attributes

• Glide wrapper error on exit game has been fixed

• Fixed a rare game client crash scenario while being in town

• D2GL video mode is now officially supported https://europebattle.net/d2/tools

• Widescreen has been integrated in the main game client and no longer requires separate download

Important: As always, you must be up-to-date with the latest patch version in order to create and join games and there are two ways of doing that:
1. Restart the Diablo II Launcher and let it auto-update to the latest patch version
2. Visit our website and re-patch your game by downloading the realm patch from https://europebattle.net/d2/join
Run the game as an Administrator.

Most items and features that aren't hardcoded in D2R have already been ported to the Legacy version of the game.

 

Afaik sunder charms are a new feature to d2r, so are hardcoded and not likely to be ported on to here. The same with terror zones.

And Uber Tristam, brace yourself coming asap with mosaic (physical) sin

 

They are indeed hardcoded besides, sunder charms are a lazy way to address immunities really. A much better way is to simply cap immunities but based on all the feedback I've read over the past years this is a core mechanic that's always been part of this game so we will leave it as is for now, especially since farming the right tools to deal with immunities is not hard at all in here.

We are always aiming to stay truthful to blizzlike content, if we start tweaking every skill and item we are going to find ourselves in an infinite loop situation where we constantly have to change and adjust things to keep everyone happy, which is also impossible to achieve, not to mention this wouldn't be on par with our ladder resets system either. If there will be official changes to the game then we will most likely import them in the Legacy version as well and we will also continue doing some items adjustments from time to time.
