Solved Names character

May i ask if it is possible to delete older characters by admins, i mean old seasons , because a lot of names are used and can't make with same name.

 

One thing I like about this server is that old chars do not auto expire, so I hope they dont do that.

This is why I use part of my username in the char name, so it is unlikely anyone else will want that name besides me, and I can delete old char myself if I really want that name again.

 

I think there is no issue to delete the characters yourself? You just go to the character, pick Delete and then type in the field DELETE.

 

The server is 20 years old. Some people don't play from 10 years and still the names are used.

 

Don’t support the idea, you never know if someone wants to start playing again. For exe I kept my 99 lvl chars from previous season and wount be happy if they will disappear

 

I know the thread has been marked as solved so maybe it's too late to ask, but is there any way to modify what characters/letters/symbols a character name can have? That would open up the possibilites for new names

 

Oh no i wasn't asking what is possible now, i know that very well. I'm asking if it's possible to modify the realm patch in a way that it lets us use other symbols as well.

 

Are basic numbers not allowed? Adding them but not other non-alphanumerics might help with limited additional risk?

 

Gix already said "that would be a no" so no point in asking further questions. I would really love to see space in names, but thats not possible either, since Gix said no.
