Unable To Identify Version

For hours now, I've tried every single possible solution to acquire a connection to the servers. I can't connect to normal bnet servers either. I added exceptions for every port and program listed in another thread, I've started a clean install, upgrading to 1.13c, installed exactly as instructed, restarted my computer, and I can still not connect to any server. I keep getting Unable to Identify Version. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm so bored of WoW and these other games, and i want to play MY game again.

Edit: If it helps, I run windows 8.

 

Try to reinstall again your gateway editor (If you don't have one download it from thins LINK) and do next think:add a new gateway
Name: Europebattle
Zone: -1
IP: D2.europebattle.net

Set chosen gateway and you will able to play; i have same error when i modify Europe ip so i add a new gateway is easy and work 100% with than unable to identify version.

if steel you recive than error download another load patch 1.13c from the internet.

I ended up downloading one of the available 1.13c downloads listed in one of these threads. It worked instantly. The DL i used was a digital download at 1.12a from blizzard. Now I'm trying to solve my problems with maphack. Loader works fine.

maybe you dont have 1.13c patch installed correctly
