PvM Summoner Guide

    Since i've seen alot of ppl start summoners, i decide to make a guide about my own build (for me this is maybe the best setup for pvm summoner)

    Stats

    Strength: just for items (if u got 20/x anih, 20x torch, Beast on military pick//Double Axe (with atleast 29 strength) + other equipment u wont need any str even if you decide to use AP enigma)
    Agility: just for items
    Vita: Rest
    Energy: NONE


    Skills

    summoning spells
    Raise Skeleton - Max
    Skeleton Mastery - Max
    Golem Mastery - Max
    Summon Resist - 1
    Clay Golem - 1
    Blood Golem - 1
    Iron Golem - 1
    Raise Skeletal Mage - 1
    Revive - 1

    poison and bone spells
    Teeth - 1
    Corpse Explosion - 20 - you need as much range as possible

    curses
    Amplify - 1 - your main curse
    Weaken - 1
    Terror - 1
    Decrepify - 1 - useful on ubers

    Rest points can go whereve you like.. i personally think best option is Revive (more summons for ubers) since im going without any summons except my Iron golem.. when im running (not ubers) :D



    Your Equipment and Inventory

    Helm - Harlequin Crest (socketed with fhr res jewel mine is with 7fhr 27 Lrez)
    Amulet - Mara's Kaleidoscope
    Weapon - Beast runeword
    Shield - Spirit Runeword (35 fcr is a must)
    Armor: Enigma runeword
    Gloves - Magefist or Trang's (i prefer trangs cuz of cold resist)
    Rings - 2x Bul's
    Belt - Arachnid Mesh
    Boots - Sandstorm Trek (cuz of fhr)

    On Swap
    CTA and Spirit (CTA6 and Eth Spirit Monarch is best choice here)

    With this equipment you will need 1 smallcharm with fhr and some with resists to cap your resists at 75.. rest charms should be just with life till you reach hp with which you feel comfortable.. And NO.. you dont need any Grand Charm Skillers.. The damage is coming from your Merc.. summons are just used for a "meat shield".. only useful summons are Iron Golem raised from Insight.. and revives for uber Tristram.. (i will suggest you to use the "Maulers" from Durance of Hate in act 3)

    p.p. You also can use Kira's instead of Shako and resist charms.. but this way you will lower your BO.. and DR.. :)


    Merc type and his equipment
    Here comes the most tricky part of all.. your main weapon :)
    First of all you will need merc from act 2 nightmare Offensive because he gives Might aura.

    Merc equipment
    Helm: Guillaume's Face (socketed with Ias//X jewel.. if u can afford it.. Ias Light resist is best in my opinion)
    Weapon: eth THRESHER infinity (Thresher is a must cuz of IAS frames.. only with it you can reach last IAS frame)
    Armor: eth bugged (or not) Fortitude
    Amulet: Highlord's Wrath
    Gloves: Laying of Hands (20% IAS and +350% dmg to demons.. +fire res :) )
    Ring: YOU DON'T NEED RAVEN HERE.. because it gives cold dmg.. and that cold dmg sometimes makes your merc to freeze enemies and u wont have a corpse for CE.. Raven is required ONLY for uber duriel.. Otherwise some rare//crafted with life leach, life, resists is okay
    Belt: I personally use String of Ears.. 8% Life leach and 15% DR..
    Boots: Gore Rider

    And if you want it perfect.. you will need 1 Chains of Honor, Thuindergod's and Whisp ring in stash.. for switching when you are running Ubers (more because of uber mephisto.. other bosses are not that of a trouble)


    OVERALL
    You have:
    75fcr - 10th frame
    87fhr - 6th frame(86fhr)
    18% DR
    Max resists

    You don't need MAX BLOCK.. because if you teleport in a group of elites with fanaticism.. and dont get lucky to teleport out of there (FHR is more useful here than Block.. cuz you will get block locked..) you are dead :)

    Merc:
    15% damage reduce
    Max resists
    Last Ias frame
    ~65% Deadly Strike
    90% Crushing blow
    10% Open Wounds
    arround 7-9k dmg

    .. something like your personal Smiter :D

    If someone think that some items can be replaced we can discuss it :) In my opinion this setup is maybe the best..
    This is the ultimate PVM runner.. you can go and kill everything that you want :)

    what do you do vs fire and physical imunes ?

    Personally i would max skels skel mastery mages bone armor and about 10 in ce 1 in amp 1 in all golems(i use insight iron golem) 1 in summon resist 1 in golem mastery rest add to what else you see fitt i know mages can be weak but there good in numbers and instead of infinity on merc i would use pride with might merc for more damage but people are different but this imo is the strongest build good luck with your necro :)

    Physical immunes = Amplify.. and merc have enough Crushing blow, open wounds and deadly strike.. so..

    About pride merc.. in my opinion it's weaker.. cuz infinity lower resists AND defense + bonus dmg to corpse explosion since its 50/50 Physical & Fire dmg (Amplify + infinity) GG.
    About Skill points they are pretty much same as mine :) read pls :C I use insight iron golem too :)
    Only difference is Skele mages.. which (for me) are useless.. all skeletons are useless. Their job is something like meat shield.. the main dmg is your merc and corpse explosion.. and for bosses (mostly for UBERS) good revives from Revive like "Maulers".

    P.S. Ruthless is no longer my necro.. now Ruthless is some imitator :(
