"Failed to join game" error

    Hi there,
    I have proper version of Diablo (LoD 1.13c) with all of your stuff, correct gateway and launching by EuropeBattleNet. In singleplayer is oblivious that your patch is working (higher exp, bigger inv, etc.).
    My problem is that I can connect to your server, but I can't make or join any game. :( It will show loading screen for couple of seconds and than "Failed to join game" error pops out.
    Any ideas how to fix it?

    I have account named SnehulakCZ and my character is called VuuuhCZ. It's like I tried couple of chars/names and this is just actual.

    Create a new account, new character and see if you create/join games with that one.

    If you still face the join error then make sure you got the game ports opened for access. (see firewall/router)

    Well.. I tried (acc Kastanus and char VuuhCZ) and no change.

    Something is blocking port 4000


    1. Open Port 4000 or Disable Firewall

    2. Do a port forward for 4000 port if using a router.

    1. Did both of it - no change
    2. Did it for 4000 and 6112 - no change

    Can it be caused by unoriginal version? I feel like I should mention it first, sorry.

    Lot's of people are not using an original version so that is not the problem.

    I had a simillar problem like yours few months ago with W3 game even though I had the 6112 port opened I couldn't connect to any w3 server.

    Are you sharing the internet with someone else? In this case do you use a router/switch or a simple LAN connection with 2 network cards attached to the computer that shares the internet connection?

    Our infrastructure is like there is fiber wire on main street and ongoing connection to our house (I don't know how to translate it, it's big tall building with 11 floors and 4 apartments on every floor :D). Not everyone is having same provider but who has (like me), has own router. I am connected to our router over WiFi as my parents are.
