Hi All, I'm about to do Über Tristram and Über Diablo (which I understand is a separate boss) for the first time. In general, I'm following this guide, but am somewhat confused about the max resists required. It states I need 300 cold, 300 lightning, 175 fire and 175 poison resist, but there is a note that in Hell I need only 75 fire and poison resist. So it seems 300 for cold/lightning is the grand total and doesn't include Hell difficulty, which means I need 200/200/75/75 in Hell. Is this correct? Do the organs disappear once the portal to ÜT is opened? Thanks for any help.
U need to understand how rezists work. Let's say u are about to take 3k life dmg to life after penatly. If u have - 100 rez that dmg is doubled if u have 0 rezist u take 3k dmg to life if u have 75 rezist u take 75% reduced dmg from that 3k so 750 life if u have 90 rezist 90% reduced dmg etc...Now absorb works like this 3k dmg to life with 20 % absorb u will absorb 20% of the dmg and than get healed 20% if u don't get 1 shoted(altough u don't see it in the life pool it just acts like a 40% absorb) so u take 40% reduced dmg so 1800 dmg. One more thing to know if u die in a game annya rez don't apply anymore even tough u see them (visual bug ).Now that u know this u need to understand what hits u in ut(i m not a pvm guy so bear with me here mby we get more ppl to answer) from what i remember the major problem for ppl running ut is uber mephisto that does mostly(from what i remember) cold dmg and light dmg and.Now he has lvl 20 conviction that reduces rezist by 125% so u need 300 total cold rez+ light rezist to stack his dmg. Now i'm asumig u use a ut smiter so u need a good amount of cb( i recomand guillhame goblin toes and duress armor) zaka draculs grief mara raven + dwarf or whisp and tgods or verdungo u can swap the last ones in between how u see fit. also use treachery to prebuff fade it's a good source of dr and all rez .
Hey. You'll be using a kicksin, so all you need is fade, BO, max rez, max block, alot of CB, absorb/reduced damage items and with life tap from draculs you should be totally fine. Even if you don't have 300 light and cold rez, you'll do alright. Uber Tristam is not that hard at all, you just need to pull and kill them 1 by 1, where Meph should always be the first one because of his aura and thats pretty much it. About Uber Diablo, he is very easy and gets dropped in 10 sec usually. And yes the organs disappear after you open the portals, also be careful not to open them on top of each other, because you won't be able to get in. Just go and try, if you can't manage it you can always call for help in gen-chat and people will finish the run for you. I can help too if needed, my smiter is a savage.
