    Hi guys,
    I really don't get it, I don't and I need so much help. Ok, so let get me start with the steps I'm making so everything is clear and maybe tell me where and when I'm making which mistake:
    1. After I download the portable version, I extract it to "D:\GAMES\Diablo 2\DiabloII_113c_Portable";
    2. I copy "LODPatch_113c" and paste it in the portable version, in the folder;
    3. Open "EuropeBattleInstaller" and install it into the portable folder;
    4. Open "EuropeBattleUpdate" which has the TDAgg3 dll and copy then paste it in the same folder, the portable one;
    5. I go in the folder (portable, ok?) and select "Game.exe" > Properties > Compatibility > XP SP 2 > Run as administrator. I do the same with "Loader.exe" and "EuropeBattle.exe";
    6. I select "Loader.exe" > Properties > Send To > Desktop (Create Shortcut), then I go on the desktop at Loader - Shortcut > Properties > Target: "D:\GAMES\Diablo 2\DiabloII_113c_Portable\Loader.exe" -w

    Those are the steps I'm making. Result? Game only opens a left top corner GameGuard with "Connecting, please wait" and that's pretty much it. Nothing happens.

    What am I missing? What am I doing wrong?

    You already have the game updated to 1.13c if you downloaded portable client and the EuropeBattleInstaller contains the latest update too. If you used the installer then you should already have a shortcut on your desktop, however if you want to create a shortcut anyway then you can do it for EuropeBattle.exe and add the -w parameter for window mode, here is an example.
    Does the gameguard image stays that way saying "Connecting, please wait" the whole time or it dissapears almost right away?
    Did you played the game before or you're new here?

    Hi Gix,
    Thank you very much for the answer.

    "Does the gameguard image stays that way saying "Connecting, please wait" the whole time or it dissapears almost right away?" - It stays for 10 seconds then dissapers.
    "Did you played the game before or you're new here?" - I did played, yes. I'm just new to the forum.

    Alright, sounds like too many things have been going on in that folder so kindly try the following:
    - Delete any diablo game folder you may have previously installed, also check control panel and see if you need to uninstall the game client too
    - Go to start, type regedit.exe then find and delete the following folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II
    - Run DiabloII_113c_Portable and extract the game in a different folder this time, let's say C:\Games\Diablo2
    - Run EuropeBattleInstaller.exe and select your game folder or get the EuropeBattle.zip archive and replace files manually
    - Set compatibiliy mode to XP Service Pack 2 and check Run as Administrator too for all executable files
    - Run the game icon located on your desktop or you can manually create a shortcut of Game.exe to your desktop and run the game in window mode as shown here.

    Note: For newer operating systems like windows 10 it may be necessary to set compatibiliy mode so make sure you do that for all executable files.

    Great!

    Ok, so, I did all those steps and it didn't worked on the first run but then I went to Game.exe and EuropeBattle.exe and set the compatibility for them and worked like magic.

    Thank you very much and I appreciate all you do on this forum. Have a great day!
