Solved Teleport problem with higher fcr breakpoint

    Hi, im having some trouble teleporting with my Sorc(107% fcr bp7)... After Each 2 teleport, the third one just tele backward or where i already stand.
    I've noticed it might have something to do with my latency since im in NA.
    I Usually have a ping of 95-100 ms using ping command (ping d2.usabattle.net which point to 188.165.54.9) and ingame with /fps it shows about 150-200 and sometimes peak at over 400.... thats when the teleport get worst.
    Autoteleport seems fine since it cant teleport faster than a defined BP so no latency problem.
    Doesnt seems to be some packet lost problem or internet provider problem... might have to do with the server location which is far for me... Server seems to be in Europe(France)... isnt there a NA server or did USA server got merged with EU?

    p.s: I tested in single player with the same fcr on a sorc and it was all good. All teleport where fluid and fast!

    Hello, morphime. The ~100 ms sounds about right in your case as for the /fps command that's not really accurate since it calculates more than just latency reason why it peaks higher sometimes. You can test that in single player and see it spikes even up to 80-100 ms even though a local connection should always stay 0. The realms got merged quite some time ago however this game is not that latency dependant really so 100 latency is definetly a good latency. How was the teleport before reaching current fcr or in general so far?

    Teleport is abit better with lower fcr breakpoint but the problem still happen except less frequently, in single player there is 0 latency at all so fcr doesnt bug at all. Im guessing i need better latency to use higher fcr breakpoint =/ When ingame im at around 125 latency its fine but it only last a second until normal latency of 200-250 comes back... not a server problem i guess OVH Network is pretty solid. So basically theres 1 server for everyone right and its in europe right?

    Also, single player doesnt have the custom features from the realm right?

    You're proper game latency is the one displayed trough cmd pinging the server ip and not the one you get through the /fps command. As I said the ping value displayed through that command ihas always been quite confusing and not accurate, you can use it in single player as well and see it spiking anywhere from 0 to 50+ ms based on your in-game actions. Indeed the OVH network is rock solid and is considered one of the best worldwide if not the best with great peering overall. There's one realm and we use multiple game servers hosted mainly in the central and far east of Europe so you should be just fine playing from Canada, we have quite a few canadians around too. I've pinged your ip address directly from the server earlier on and it's about ~90 ms which is definetly in the green.

    No, the single player misses a lot of the features (both custom and ladder) present in our realm.

    I wish there was a game server in NA lmao would have an even better ping and probably no teleport problem! Sadly, i guess im gonna stick to autotele for a while =/
