CE Necro question

    - %fire res work on CE or not?

    Not 100% sure, but I do not think any fire damage is done from CE, so -res wouldn't help.

    It works and It doesn’t work at the same time.

    Dmg output:
    Target hp = 50%fire dmg and 50%physical dmg.
    We have flat damage decided by the game engine - regardless of how much % to fire dmg
    Or -%fire Rez you will always do 50-50

    Yes, it does, since CE damage is 50% fire damage and 50% physical damage. This is the reason why CE necros use Infinity as merc weapon of choice - lowers target defense (higher physical damage) and lowers elemental resists (higher fire damage).

    You can do a test yourself in NL or single player, see how cows go in P8 with infinity on merc, vs/ any other weapon; my bet is that results will be speaking for themselves.
