Armor with 6000 def how is possible that

What's going on here

 

On private servers why not , actually it was bug and on retail, but they fix it fast

 

I'm not judge anyone i'm asking how they do that

 

Find ELITE ETHEREAL ARMOR with sockets DUSK .. ARCHON ... Greath HAulberk.... Sacred Armor whatever.. if you looking for 5600-6200 armor
Step 1 ADD PROPER RUNEWORD( "STONE " 4sockert ; " Duress" 3 socks) with +%ENHANCED DEFENSE
Step 2 Remove with Scroll of town portal+ Hel rune
Step 3 REPEAT till you got maximum (+ 2500) defense on the base armor if it is superior it will be more )
Step 4 Put the runeword that you want Fortitude have +200%ED which mean base armor x 2 that why it 6112 armor but dont forget it is ETHEREAL and you can not repear it.

Bug 2
Step 1 Find UNIQUE ETHEREAL Armor, helm or shield with +% ENHANCED DEFENSE ( doesnt work on Shako it doesnt have enhanced defense)
Step 2 Add a socket with the quest if it doesnt have
Step 3 Put ELD rune or PUL ( with Pul rune is faster but more expensive ofc)
Step 4 Remove it with HEL rune + Scroll of Town portal in Hordrac cube
Step 5 Repeat till defense stop increase
