Bosses not dropping set items?

Why is it that bosses aren't dropping set items? I've ran a ton of meph runs and have never got a single set item from him, but typically you would get them quite often. I thought it was because of MF too high so I removed it all to 0% and still never get any.

 

To be honest here i have never gotten a set item from diablo baal meph duriel andy , but i guess its about random drop im not sure . i usually find set items from mobs or unique mobs .

 

Yeah I was just thinking about it today lol. I know that on BNet you could. Wanted to farm meph for a Guillaume's Face but then remembered they don't drop set items

 

i found Guillaume's Face 2 times from Rakadishu at the portal in stony-field just for the info

 

Before the ladder reset i found Guillaume in a Countess run.. Keep trying and kill mobs or unique mobs.

 

The SuperUniques appear to drop set items with more regularity than really anything else. At least that has been my impression. The Cow King tends to drop set items for me consistently, for example.

 

For set items try Cows and Diablo mobs
