Dueling

I've played a bit dueling here, watched multiple duels and as much as I like the place, some stuff is never taken into consideration.
As I knew there is a list of "BM" - Bad mannered stuffs which aren't being done in duels because it's lame.
- No outside screening. [A char is not allowed to shoot or kite from outside its screen, nor leave the 1000x1000 -one screen-distance, or duel is FF]
- No lack of fair play [A char can forfeit the duel and isnt necessarely to be killed. Saying GF (good fight) is a clear sign of forfeit]
- No pre-setting [if a trapper or a hammerdin will go outside the town and place traps/start hammers, the duel is FF, because this is LURKING]
- No pre-buffing [Getting Enchant from other char, like sorc. Thats more than lame]
- No random hostility [Unless you are prepared to face all you hostilized in a N+1 vs 1 match.Gettin' killed by a team then is not BM]
- No pack-fight. [Party vs One unless agreed upon the fact]
- No consumable usage [That includes Tp scrolls, Rejuvs, Full Rejuvs, healing, mana pots. A duel is a duel. If you got a lame pvm build and you duel, spamming potions suck. On the other side if we all spam potions like noobs, thats not duel, thats lame.]
- No merc unless "merc duels". Which are really fun to watch, and even to bet on.
- Melee duels are melee duels. Hitting and running is lame and can forfit the duel. Small side-steps don't count (like ones with ww barbarian or charger, or even rabies druid) , but running more than a 1/4 of a screen is called Sniping, and forfeits duel.
- Also duels could be event-like and rewarded under specifical conditions. Also ears should be exchanged for something. 5 different ears should be rewarded with something moderate. Like a Value Currency, which in higher numbers to be trade-able for ingame stuff.

 

i agree with you but mana pots are allowed unless you are a es sorc.
