I have a working setup using Sting MH that works normally, but in my testing to try to get BH MH working, I have noticed a problem.

The gold drop/withdraw button and gold quantity are not in the right places. I have checked some other threads on here and verified I do have VC redist 2010 and 2015-2019 .
I am using the launcher and it updated the files on first run and verifies the files are up to date on subsequent runs.
I tested with a fresh D2 folder and no maphack installed with the same misplaced gold and buttons.
I tested with all the available resolutions and same problem.
I made sure all the ddraw settings are the same between the working folder and the non-working folders (had to copy shaders folder from working directory to the two testing directories.

Does anyone have anything else to suggest I try?

EDIT: Tried the VC redist 2015-2022 as well, working setup still works, misalligned setups are still misalligned.

I did see that post in my searching, but it does not seem to apply here.
In the working folder, I have been launching via the launcher for some time now.
In the non-working folders, I have exclusively launched with the launchers.

I will try the manual download and overwrite, but I would think the launcher updating all the files in a brand new folder without any mods (not even maphack) would be the same files and so the same problem.

That's what I'm saying, the auto-update of the library file responsible with the gold changes was disabled for a few days, but I did set it back to normal just now.

    Interesting...
I was able to get the allignment correct with the manual update (also, the 'default' option changed to GDI after first run with the manual update... this did not work before and I have been using Direct3D, until now!)

Thank you for the heads up.

Sting MH seems working correctly even with the updated D2Win.dll. As for the cpu fix, I gave up on that and falling back to use ThrottleStop again (limiting my cpu's turbo freq).
