Merce Info

Merce Gear setups.

The reason for this thread is incase i have over looked something.
This thread is souly dedicated to act 2 merce. (might/holyfreeze)

so Max DPS builds used to be Fortatude + Insite/infinity/obidence and then Andy vissage with 15% ais jewel (and ED if posible) or Cham for anti-freeze
now, with the new slots for ammu, ring, gloves, boots, belt, I fear things may have changed.

So i can see getting around anti freeze with Raven frost.
and the attack speed with gloves Lava Gout also chance for enchant (so not good with obediance set up)
or vamperics for the life tap (not good with a necro) but then still needs the AIS

Andariel's Visage 20% AIS
Fortatude No AIS/FHR
Obedience has 40% FHR
Insite/infinity have no AIS/FHR
Highlord's Wrath +20% AIS
Sandstorm Trek 20% FHR
Lava Gout +20% AIS
Dracul's Grasp No AIS or FHR

So this one should be simple, if u wear either Obedience, or sandstorm, or both, you gain a few breakpoints.

AIS Table
bit more complciated, because of weapon base speed plays a massive part, so we'll look at 3 options

Colossus Voulge/Cryptic Axe [+10] (very slow)
Ogre Axe/Great Poleaxe [0] (normal)
Giant Thresher/Thresher [-10] (Very fast)


so as far as i can work out, can still only get 55 ais, (unless we ditch vampericsto get 75%), but for 55% ais, vs 35% from 3 item merce, it DOESNT help CV/CA builds, (it misses the AIS gap by 1% ,so socketing AIS in andy is a waste (except for the ED part)
OR 15% ais jewel isn't NEEDED, we get 40% from that standard set up, so CA/CV doesn't even need the jewel, GP/OA doesnt need jewel, and T/GT only needs a 2% ais jewel?

Or am i missing something? (i haven't included magic,rare,crafted items, and can only think boots would outweight the unique properties)
Gloves have either enchant or lifetap
ammu gives ais, ring gives anti freeze, or need cham that takes up the socket we are questioning.

 

If u going for 100% Offensive merc like instant killer merc then this is the setup:
Guilaumes face with 15 ias jewel.
Infinity eth giant thresher.
Fortitude.
Carrion wind ring.
Verdungoes coil.
Laying of hands gloves.
Goblin toes.
Highlords amulet.

Well replace that lava gout, sandstorm with laying of hands(set bramble mits gloves) and goblin toes

 

so what exactly are u asking... ? u want the max dps gear setup? If so it's important to know if this merc will be used on hdin necro etc..
