Off-Char Melee setup

Fellow Hellians -

I am interested in a setup that results in a substantial physical melee damage output on builds that don't have skill-based ED. It's for a PVM-char that casts, but I am interested in "throwing a few punches" when the timing is right. Is this plausible?

 

Hi, did you try summ necro? Even if the summs do the work for you, you still have to cast amplify/low resist very often and corpse explosion to clean big wave of creeps, so its very interactive... you wont get bored ... you can try using Beast runeword on you, to get fanaticism for summs/merc and ... i dont know how its called, the runeword that gives concentration aura on merc... the damage increase will be significant for the summs
