    A small network interruption has been caused by several upgrades performed by our host today, the server is back on track, sorry for the inconvenience.

    Weekly routine maintenance has been completed. D2GS is back online after a short reboot and old cache has been purged.

    Weekly routine maintenance has been completed. D2GS is back online after a short reboot that ensures the server stability and reliability.

    Our hosting provider is experiencing some problems, therefore there is a possibility that only some of you might been disconnected or you may not be able to connect for a few minutes.
    It should be fixed fast so wait for a few minutes if you're having connectivity issues.

    Weekly routine maintenance has been completed. A fast game server reboot been performed and old logs have been purged.

    We will be running a planned server reboot today, June 19th 2016 to update our server platform for all client tags. ETA is unknown and there won't be any downtime except that you will be kicked out to login screen once you quit your game or if you are inside the chat and you will have to login back.


    Maintenance Completed: Server engine has been successfully upgraded to 2.1.7 version

    Server engine has been successfully upgraded to 2.1.9 version (several security patches have been applied together with server optimization)

    Our hosting company is experiencing some technical issues since yesterday as you could have noticed during short bursts of high latency or disconnects, once or twice in a day and seems to be a general issue as several other dedicated servers are having the same problem. We already contacted the technical support so hopefully they will trace the problem as soon as possible and fix it.

    EDIT: Alright, that was fast. Seems they are aware of the problem and working to fix it.

    LATER EDIT: Seems to be fixed now.

    The server platform has reached maximum capacity today due to wc3 and d2 games gaining a lot of popularity lately and needs to be increased.

    A short reboot has been performed and server capacity has been increased to 5000 players ; those who were already in a game were unaffected by the reboot but they will need to login again after quiting their game.

    We are currently running a routine maintenance as it's been a while since our last one, servers will be back up shortly.

    Update: All servers are back online.

    We performed a short maintenance today in order to force-check clients version for the following games: diablo2, warcraft3, starcraft, red alert2 and disable old unsupported versions from connecting.
    Our launcher uses a custom checksum to verify data integrity, therefore some of you experienced the "unable to identify version" error for a few minutes upon connecting.
    We applied the required extra settings and the issue is now fixed.

    All services are now back online. We thank you all for your patience.
    Those who were already in a game during the maintenance have not been disconnected, however they will need to login again into their account once they quit their current game.

    A very short maintenance of about 3 minutes has been performed on our primary D2GS.

    Short routine maintenance has been completed.
    We switched to UTC time as our server time since it has no daylight saving, therefore it does not change with a change of seasons.

    Two recipes reported as not working have been fixed:
    (Classic) 3 Perfect Skulls + 1 Rare Item + Stone of Jordan = Add 1 Socket To a Rare Item
    (Expansion) 3 Magic Rings = 1 Random Magic Amulet

    We had an unexpected shutdown of the dedicated server, thus resulting into a short downtime.
    We will take the opportunity to install latest OS updates and once it's back up, the server time (/time) will also display the correct UTC hour.

    All services are back online, thanks for your patience.

    To avoid a reported issue caused by yesterday's timezone change (UTC) of the server we performed a fast reboot to ensure that future logins won't be affected by this problem. It was an easy fix and a short reboot was required to apply it. Thanks for the quick reaction and for your patience.

    A short reboot has been performed earlier today as some of the games got stuck and new ones couldn't be created anymore for ~15 minutes.
    Thanks for using the skype monitoring call to let us know.
