Hello. I just got interested in starting on this server, but when i started playing i noticed a high ping. Things like picking up items take somewhere like half a second to a second to happen. Also when my projectile hits a fallen, it only dies after that little delay as well. my /p shows 320 ish.
So i came to the forums and did some research to find that using CMD and pinging this ip: 198.50.147.147, i have a very constant 72 ~ 75ms. Also, I dont get any ping problems on battle.net, which makes me think it is nothing port related.

    Any tips?
    Thank you!

edit: I am located on the west cost of North America.
edit: latency is back to normal, thanks.

Hello. The official server has hundreds of servers hosted across the globe so you can't really compare that with a private realm, besides they have complete separate realms for US East and US West.
Most likely routing and location are part of the problem, however that latency looks too big compared to other west coast players. You can PM me (click my name and open a new conversation) with your IPv4 and I'll run some tests because you're currently using an IPv6 address and make sure to allow incoming ICMP too. PS: Do note that /p comamnd will display raw ping and it won't always be accurate because it only updates every 10 minutes and values may also be influenced by how many loaders you open, resources usage, etc so cmd ping is more recommended.
LE: Alright, I see there are two unresponsive hops therefore seems like comcast added some extra routes that probably were experiencing issues at the time of your post, everyting seems to be stable now. Keep in mind that it's perfectly normal for a regular ISP and it's connection to experience issues once in a while and some will do it more than the others.
