Please be blizzlike

People got items because they are hunting for 2 years now. It's actually funny to see some people willing to kill for better drops while a very few others want it lower, probably you're the second or third guy I ever seen saying that but I can understand that as you are a default single/multiplayer single rate fan. On the main page you don't see any changes over drops because they aren't any. Drops are untouched however they get increased comparing to bnet due to big population and other factors that you can find over google in the drop theories because d2 doesn't have a global drop rate formula and such thing was never released by blizzard to official public.

You are free to take our patch and a default 1.13c patch and compare the files inside easily with an editor you can find over google and you will see the same listed changes as on website, drops not being touched. Also, as a new guy asking for wipe is very convenient for you so please don't look for a reason and be patient. Don't worry, when it's going to happen you won't loose your items as your characters will be moved to non-ladder and we'll definetly announce people few weeks before it happens but we cannot wipe everything every singe time a new player that joins the server asks for it and we don't plan on nerfing drops for an individual either as we are not a bnet replica server, sorry.

Also not sure if you fully understand the "blizzlike" meaning because for example, most people in bnet haven't seen a single zod rune in 14 years or more or it took years to find a perf tm and hell no, we don't want that here. Also we got no bots, so this makes things a lot better. Keep in mind that our server concept it is blizzlike, it's always been, but this doesn't mean we have to use the original 1.13c untouched patch with it's outdated and not improved things otherwise people can always play bnet while this is a private server where some small changes are being made to make people life easier and more attractive. We are not trying to replace the official 1x rate server with a replica private server just because we don't have bots and we got a big and awsome community for such an old game. Back in 2005-2010 we did had single rates server with a 1.13c untouched patch and a lot loads of players but please let us remember we are in 2016 now so we had to adapt over the years and also keep in mind that we are talking about a 15 years old d2 game that can't last forever in terms of popularity so getting back to those settings will not do any good for the community as the game is nowhere near as popular as it was years before.

PS: If you look for some challenge then may I recommend you playing HC instead (in case you're not doing it) or classic and not lod which will definetly make things a lot harder as the population is lower there.

 

Hey, this game was overpopulated like 8 years ago, please keep in mind what year we live in. We cannot please everyone and that is totally normal as no one can and this is not bnet years ago either so we cannot suddently nerf all drop rates for everyone because you consider it to be too easy, private servers are supposed to be easier and just as you like increased difficulty, most of the players of this game wouldn't like getting rare items in terms of weeks or months. We cannot oblige you to play if you don't like it but that is how we run our server for the last years and as I said there are probably two or three guys including you that said things are way too easy for them but no one except you was that revolted for getting things easier (you'll see more often in the chat people asking if the drops were brought down because they get low drops but you'll never see they get too many), out of thounds of players. If you got that much items left to spare you are free to share some of your goods with those players that chat about getting such low drops and ask for a better drop because they get nothing. I'm sorry but not many will share this opinion of yours as you can browse the forums and see for yourself there are threads asking about a drop increase and definetly not a decrease, because there were more motivated oldschool hard rates users back in the days when this game was popular not nowdays when every new game that comes out has a fancy graphic and old games have been replaced by the new ones, nostalgia cannot keep a game attractive forever. By the way you seem to ask something but answer different so go ahead and do the patch comparison (your question was about drop rates not boss rewards that you mention in your second post, quoting mine and these are two different things) and yes I am serious when answering to players, I didn't knew my posts where a joke for you just as there is no need in being rude.
