Sorc in hell (immunities and build)

Hello, brief question (of a noob is clear), some other way that is not with the runeword infinity to break immunities in that difficulty? Game sorc frost orb so far, change from build to lightning? The truth is that I'm pretty lost and until now I was doing pretty well but in hell ...

If I am a noob that has not played for many years and just played in normal and in a nightmare in 1 player (I did not have internet xD), do not bite me please

Simply put, there is no other way to BREAK immunities other than from infinity (conviction aura) or with Lower Resistance Necro skill. You can lower them substantially(once broken) with items like crescent moon or similar but if the monsters are 100+ res; those are your only choices. Hence why they are so essential, and why lightning sorcs are the favored choice. Less monsters above 117 res that can never be broken.

 

Then I change to lightning, and I dedicate myself to farm countess to get infinity, perfect. Thank you very much, I will follow your guide that I have seen it out there ^^

 

Personally i prefer a Blizzard sorc with eth elite polearm(insight runeword) on merc. And later farm up runes for a Cta for merc survivability and self also. And farm up for an Enigma for a hammer paladin with 125fcr cap.

 

Personally, I prefer Blizz sorcs, specially for beginners. Does not need Infinity and still wrecks bosses and non immune packs/elites. Can farm Travincal (amazing farm spot and does not need Mf gear) rather easy (only one is always cold immune, but merc gets that). Cannot Pit but AT (Ancient Tunnels, Act2) and Cows are like heaven for cold sorcs.
Chaos is hard but manageable (just skip Oblivion Knights) and, if geared enough, just let merc deal with Lord De Seis (cold immune all the time). Nihlathak can be really hard tho (he usually comes with Cold Immunity and is surrended by immunes and PRETTY annoying minions), and that's where the Light sorcs shines the most.
So, in sum, Blizz sorcs are rather easy to use and really powerfull. They are not as fast as Light/Infinity sorcs for mob killing, but are better for crowd control and boss kill.
This is a personal opinion from someone with a main Cold sorc.
I would advice to stay as a Blizz till you can get your Infinity. Go Andy, AT, Summoner, Trav, Meph.
Or stay Cold as I do and freeze these demons hearts forever. xD

My opinion is to play the Orb/Meteor or Fireball. I came without any problems through hell and farmed this way to my own Infinity. After that i changed to the light sorc and farm much more effective then before.

 

at the moment I will stay in frost until I get farm infinity more than anything because I only have the talent change of hell unless there is another way that I do not know xD I do not remember many things in the game and here there is much change

 

You can reset unlimited times as long as you have Tokens (the combination of each act boss "essence"). There are four of them, since Andy and Duriel gives the same. Get the four (from Andy/Meph/Diablo/Baal) or buy from someone (vex-ohm each) and you can use to reset all stats/skills again. The "essence" drop is kinda uncommon, so don't get frustrated if you don't get any in like 10 runs. They'll drop eventually, sometimes you might get even 2 or 3 from the same boss.
