Trap Asassin (PVM)

Hi all!

I try to make a guide for pvm trapsin , maybe its not a fully version ,not all thing inside.
But i think can playing with this guide.

So.
Trap assa.

The Stats:
-Strength:
-All you need here is enough to wear your gear. Thats it.
-Dexterity:
-There are 2 things you can do here. 1 you can only put enough to wear your gear.
-Energy:
-You don't need as much here as you might think. That is, if you use 2 soj you will be fine in the mana catagory
-Vitality:
-This is were most of your stat points go. Usually after you get Strength, Dexterity, and
Energy were you want them, the rest of your points go here.


The Skills
Traps:
-fire blast - MAX
-Shock Web - MAX
-Charged Bolt Sentry - MAX
-Lightning Sentry - MAX
-Death Sentry - MAX

Shadow Disciplines:
-Burst of Speed - 2-3
-Shadow Master - 1
-Mind Blast - 1


The items:

-Helmet:
2assa20fcr-dex,str,life,res circlet.

-Armor: Enigma

-Belt: Arachnid Mesh
-Rings: SOJ's
-Amulet: 2assa/trap-20fcr,dex,life,res

-Weapon:
3assa-3Ls/20ias claws inside shael rune.

-Gloves: draculs. (But why? :
- draculs inside DR and lifetap = Better "lifestyle")
-Boots: eth sandstrom trek


Inventory:
-1 Annihilus
-1 torch assa
-14x Trap charms(better with hp )
- all left 20 hp / 5 allres sc

Merc:
-Act2 Def Merc: nightmare
-Weapon: Infininty (eth thereser)
-Armor: Fortitude
-Helm: eth andariel


Claw vs Shield:
As you may know, Assasins can duel wield claws. This allows up to +6 to traps
(2x 3 to trap claws) but also cuts out resitance and high blocking of a shield.(storm)


Fcr you need 102%
Fhr you need 86 %
IAS better more !

I think its enought for starter players , to make it assassin.

I gotta point out a few important things that you didn't put in this guide, even if it's for beginners, they should know that stuff:

- In the skill section you forgot 1 point in Burst of Speed, 1 in Fade and maybe even 1 in MB (you are putting a point in Cloak of Shadows to reach SM anyway)
- You said that Trapsins are different, but didn't say why. Traps need IAS to be layed faster, FCR is for the other stuff that you cast, like Teleport.
- Griffon is used only if you need to reach 102% fcr bp (the fcr bp is not 125%), the +/- to light rez/dmg doesn't work with Traps, only when Shock web is used.
- If a TM is not used, Raven is necessary for the CBF, otherwise you'll have bad time. Sock'd Cham in the armor, helm or shield is also an option.
- There is no weapon switch mentioned in the guide. CtA and Spirit are a must have for BO/BC prebuff.
- Other useful boots: War Travs (Frw/Str/MF), Marrows (frw/20str/17dex/mana regen/half freeze), Silks (frw/max mana 10%/mana after kill) or even Dancers.
- In the shield section, you didn't mention Stormshield, it's good if you play HC. I'm not really sure about the JMOD with 4 light RBFs, maybe if you Shock web alot.
- Inventory section can have some more stuff like skillers, sc fhr/rez, sc life/rez, but even new D2 players can figure that out by themselves I guess.
- The Merc section is missing. What's the best merc to get and the gear for it? Act2 NM, Guillame/Andy, Infi, Forti/Treachery, Hlord, Gores/Goblins etc.
- A strategy section can be useful too.

Other than that, the guide is good, but it's very very basic and looks like you was in a rush while making it. I'm sure you can do better, dude.

Please, try to learn or remember basics, before you even start to think about writing a guide.

Picking one character, stating which skills are about to be maxed (main skill+synergies, duh) and how to use stats (str for eq, dex for block or eq, rest in vita - such aplies for majority of builds), thats not a guide.

I recommend you to read some other guides - such as Timmys’, to get a clue what i am talking about.

Even edited this guide is plain wrong. Equipment you mentioned is either useless or almost impossible to obtain, there is no information about gameplay, why is ias important and for which breakpoint you should aim, etc...
