Solved Unable to connect to Battle.net

    Hello
    Today I tried to enter the game and got this error:

    Some people also get this error. Any ideas what the problem is and how to fix it?
    Already tried to manually activate europebattle gateway.reg — didn't help

    We just got called about the problem, seems the main platform threw an error and it didn't got back up by itself so it had to be restarted manually. If there is no announcement and the server is offline then most likely it's an unexpected downtime that we are not aware of so opening a new thread in our forums or using the emergency call and letting us know about the problem is the right way to do it.

    All services are back online now, thanks for the fast reaction and opening this thread.


    PS: Just a heads up, seems the friends list is acting strange on the modern versions of the main platform as it appears to be fine for most members but it may clear randomly for some newer accounts after a complete reboot of the realm and they may have to add their friends back. As far as I see the same issue has been reported by other realms and servers too since majority uses the same software version in order to emulate and host games like warcraft3, diablo2, starcraft, etc and although it may not be a deal breaker it could be annoying for the few of you that may experience it. Unfortunately this is something that the platform developers have to deal with so hopefully they will address this issue soon or let us know if there is some workaround. I suggest you save a screenshot of your friends list just in case.
