auras doesnt work together

    hi there, i get warlock set and infi on merc and auras doesnt work together, no conviction, can u tell me why?? if i pick one piece from warlock conviction works but i wanted both auras.

    Hey there, I'm guessing you mean the new Warlord set and not warlock, and the aura in question is Meditation? If that's the case, it's because Meditation is a bonus aura granted after full set completion and not an aura applied to an individual item.

    full set give me meditation, it works well but if i wanna use infi, conviction doesnt work, until i pick out one item from set, meditation is off and conviction works but doesnt work together, now understand?

    Hi, they don't work together, like @Gix said in previous post, because it is a bonus aura granted after full set completion and not an aura applied to an individual item.

    So only ONE aura is active when full set completion on merc, but how much auras maximum are active on merc if the item gives aura when equpt like Dream, Dragon, Insight, Infinity, etc.?
    Again ONE or more?
    Also, can I get answer of the same question, but for my character - how much auras when full set completion (like Warlord)+ aura from iten when equipt (like Dragon) and how much auras ONLY from items that gives aura when equipt (like Dragon) ?

    you dont get it bro, i had FULL set on merc, meditation active, but conviction from infinity NOWHERE

    If you equip items that grant aura, that is fine and you can stack them; however, the aura from the set is a completion-set aura, which is different from an item aura, at least in this case with Merc. So I will say this again they don't work together. You can either have the completion-set aura or items aura because this is a game limitation.

    I understand, but how much (one, two, three...) auras from items (like Dragon, Dream, etc.) can be active on merc and how much auras can be active on character (one, two, three...) ?

    As for the Warlord set, once again it's a unique exception since it's the only set that grants you such an aura on full completion. Since it's a bonus aura and not an item aura, it will not stack with other auras.
    PS: Again, keep in mind this set does not officially exist in the game yet; it was added by Blizzard in the game files but never enabled, similar to runewords like Plague, Pattern, etc that were added over two decades ago in the game files but only enabled with the release of D2R, 20 years later.

    So if I equipt this items: Hand of Justice, Dragon (armor) and 2x Dream (helm and shield) on merc (from act 3), he will use Holy fire aura level 30 and Holy shock aura level 30.
    Also if i have paladin with Conviction aura (from my skills) and Vigor from (Harmony bow) - will stack all auras, 4 auras on merc + 2 auras from me = 6 auras? YES or NO? If NO, why?

    Look at it like layers.

    The aura from the equipment set is a bonus that comes from the full set and is on layer 1.
    The aura from a runeword or unique is a trait of that single item and is on layer 2.
    You cannot have auras from different layers on at the same time. One aura layer overrides the other. In this situation, layer 1 overrides layer 2.

    Can you read my last post again and thnik about my question and give me answear please?
    Examp: How much auras (in numbers-1,2,3...) can stack from layer 2 on merc and on my character (if its different because I think 6 or more auras can not stack on my merc) ?

    The sets themselves are not intended for merc only for class hero.

    this point is quite important we do miss to note - only in here, a Mercenary can wear a full set.
    FWIW. I spent around an hour testing and debugging this exact scenario the other week.
