Helm is on its way. You only need to be patient for ~~173.238 days, until luck strikes and the desired affix combo gathers on one helm!!!

 

After a pretty long series of imbuing, out of sheer curiosity, I dropped a visit to a well-known affix calculator (to which I am 10000% sure you are very familiar with, Bgl).

Just marked the most important affixes you would like on the helm (Valkyrie's, of Speed, Prismatic, Mechanic's and of Perfection); so 5, out of 6 maximum possible. You probably have a fairly good idea of the output, but I'll write it anyway: it's 1:23.896.406 (0.0000041%) chances of all these affixes to spawn on a single headband (circlet-type helm, for n00bs).

Well, at this point, the

part I wrote in my previous post, mostly as a joke, is not that witty anymore. Only sheer luck can be of help, with all the knowledge, patience and imbue / reroll / gambling material that anyone - who is after your awesome offer - may have.

The closest I got so far is 2 of the 5 affixes + some 20-ish life mod, which is pretty far from your target (2 ama, 30 frw, 7 max, 31% ed, 21 life, 31% lres). I'll keep on going, until I run out of material and patience .

So with these 5 affixes the helm would be perf for me.
But i buy others too if i like the stats, even without 2 ama skill.
30 frw life all res 2 sock is good too, but it depends on the stats how much i pay.

 

Passed to the next stage; did some 150 pskull rerolls, but this time came nowhere near the target. Had some 1k pskulls on 4+ mules (full inv[56] + stash[100] + cube[80] = 236 pcs each). Mechanic's rolled only 2 or 3 times (extremely disappointing), valkyrie's a few times, same for "of speed", "of perfection" roughly the same, "Prismatic" was the most frequent. NEVER together on the same item, though.
For the 2+ months since I've been collecting skulls and rolling them to perfect, the results were really, really ugly. Only worked with diadems, which always have Alvl 99 available, btw. Was barely able to keep some 3 items that might be worth something to someone. Unless one is full of shitty luck (pardon my expression), the pskull reroll is a waste of time, imo, especially after this time-consuming experience that I just went through.

Next, I will go to some gambling, however, been there - done that, don't expect much from this either.

These being said, my dear Bgl, just think that those ber's you stashed will have to wait some more, for Fairy Uber-Gozu-AmaHelm to come.

 

i have been gambling circlets for a while now looking for a solid circ for my javzon to rock with no luck, i have not came close to any of these mods you are looking for together on one godly circlet. for as long as i have been looking for one myself it almost seems to be a fool's errand but i dont think any of us are willing to give up just yet lol
SOMEONE is bound to find one within the next 50 years or so rofl

 

Gambled a Kira's Guardian, 56@, ilvl 98 )). Griffon may be around the corner.

 

Pskull reroll is maybe the best way to get it.
I take rare lvl 99 diadems and reroll them max. 3 times each, until i take a new one.
This way i got 2x 30 frw 2 sock helm. Others adds werent good tho.

 

Diadems always have Alvl 99, regardless of char lvl, ilvl and whatever lvl you can think of. I simply rerolled them until something that seemed worth keeping rolled (that happened 3 times in >150 rolls). Can point you to several posts stating that, but also using Sting's with the appropriate settings will clarify the above as well.

In the end, it is only a matter of luck, given the huge affix pool available.

 

well, then maybe its just me, but i feel a difference if i use higher ilvl diadems only. maybe its only in my head but it works
