Hey @Endotoxin and welcome aboard.

I'm pretty sure none of our GMs actually did that over your DoH account especially since they only play this server and none of them has access to people's password. However we've been accused with no evidence at all in the past too (probably due to popularity) and your actual server owner tried to mess with this server before (causing quite some crashes just like you said they had, but we got it fixed) probably because he wanted to get more players and i find that a bit childish. Still I don't hold a grudge on him especially since I gave him some advices here and there in the past and we had some quite friendly discussions over skype.

Best way to avoid such situations is to use unique passwords on every server you go. I remember one of our GM got his account hacked by the WoB owner just because he used same password as here and some other player had his account hacked too due to using same password as on another server. Fortunately both cases were solved and proven it was just a temporary immature moment as me and Stephen (wob owner) are friends over the internet and he's a nice guy overall as well as Chris (DoH server owner), despide the things he did in the past. As I said, I don't hold a grudge on people. It's just a game and we are supposed to be all mature people.

Anyway hope we'll get over all these nonsense and you'll enjoy your stay here.

This server has one main goal: offering d2 players a nice place to stay and have fun with the others by leaving aside grudges, flaming, non-sense fight and so on. We don't care about other servers competition, virtual fights or any other stuff related to that. I don't have neither the time and I'm well passed over 15 to do that crap stuff. Although seems that other kiddies keep trying dirty tricks everyday.

 

Oh, that kid ... Be sure that Bez had no access to your account or anything related to that. He was just a Helper and no one (not even the HGMs) except myself has access to actions reffering to people's password and the only way I get involved into that is by reseting passwords, not revealing or giving them back (not even to the account owners, the only way being the password reset as I said). If he did anything, he was outside of this server and the community itself. Also he's been fired quite fast considering he was kinda looking to change the server into his own mod (lol). He was kinda good of acting mature actually, although he was just a kid.

Anyway, he's a closed case and always make sure to use unique passwords, just for safetly.
