Hello loshmc , did you go into your properties ---> go to compatibility ---> check too "run as administrator" and also make it run in "Windows XP Service pack 2"? on the loader you are using.

Has to be more than that, it can't just stop working while logging in with a new account.

Do a fresh reinstall and follow the connect steps again. Also, screenshots and more information regarding the error would help us more on assisting you.

No, this can't be the cause as people login on different accounts every single day.

If you do a fresh D2 reinstall make sure you delete registry files as well and upon reinstall use a different partition, not the same. Try turning on DEP (guide here) as well besides the compatibility mode and turn off your antivirus.

Some files might got deleted, you may also have a spyware or virus that did that, try to patch the game again.

I hope you have solved your problem by now. If not, I suggest following the suggestions Gix gave you. If you do a new installation and unpack the patch files using the connection guide then you should be back up and playing in no time.

Hello, i don't want to open a new thread, so i write here.
Yesterday my d2 was running fine, no problem. After shutting down, today i woke up with "Error HTTP: 302" on the Gameguard. Worst part is, it stays in the upper left corner of the screen and i cant close it, not even with task manager. Quite Annoying, so any ideas? Should i try a reinstall as suggested above? Thanks

@oniq_tam, next time do open a separate thread instead or you risk in having your post deleted for not following the forum rules.

All you had to do was to launch the game once more. You were getting that error due to our anti-ddos firewall being activated and you had to be whitelisted for the next hour. Closing and opening the game a second time would have fixed that. I'm pretty sure everything is fine now so use the forum to confirm it's all good too, not just for problems and then dissapear when it's fixed.
