this seems too good to be true. I love d2 and am in the US with a couple of questions: Are there really hundreds online? Will I have good latency in the U.S.? Sanctioned map hack is awesome. How is the anticheat system? I'm currently playing on a private d2 server but I'm pretty sure all the creators bot constantly because they had enigmas and infinities in like the first week of ladder. I'd love to join the server but it all just seems too good to be true. What are your experiences like? EDIT: Ok so I joined today and got loads of help. I am loving the quality of life improvements like breaking down runes, bigger stash, cubing up gems. This has been an awesome experience so far. Looking forward to pvp tournaments which apparently one was today? Sounds super fun. To anyone thinking about joining this server, if you enjoyed d2 back in the day then go reinstall right now and join. This server rocks

Our anti-cheat system is the best around! You won't find ANY botting on our server. Our experience rates are boosted, but, only up to level 93. After that, it's original XP. Hey, Donkey. As Dan said, servers are deployed internationally so your latency should be juuust fine. In regards to bots ant stuff, we have a perfectly working anti-cheat called 'GameGuard' which is integrated into to D2 itself and prevents from running any programs (like 3rd party programs or dll's) that would affect D2 client in any way. My personal experience is really good as this is by far the most welcoming with a great community like server, with various events and plenty of active players!

Hello @Donkeybrainz and welcome aboard. While I find a bit odd to ask that question here (it's not like those playing here will tell you it's not worth joining), I'm glad you decided to jump in and see for yourself because in the end it will be your decision and it's just as I expected so enjoy your stay and hope you'll become a long-term member of our community. To answer your questions, when we talk about the anticheat you must understand that this game doesn't have one (warden is a joke for both official server and especially private servers that are only emulating this game and don't have any sort of protection), however what we got here is an unique custom built anticheat developed particularly for this game and that makes us the only botting and cheaters free international server. When it comes to number of players, we are by far the most popular private server, there are lots of players online especially during peak times and even though d2 has a big ratio of private games there are still a lot of public games open all the time and the main chat channel is more active than on bnet itself. The realm is called "international" (we used to split it into eu and us few years ago) and we use two separate dedicated servers hosted in different locations in the EU and US so your latency will be fine (ignore the fps ingame thats not a real ping command though) ; we got players from all over the world, including a big i-cafes korean community too. To sum it up, lots of players online, everyone is so nice and helpful, truly great community and there are no cheaters or botters. Some game aspects are made easier however you'll definetly find the game challenging considering our previous ladder lasted for 2.5 years (unlike the official server that does that every 6 moths) still had lots of active players grinding for items and we got several extra useful features but on top of that we still preserve the original game feeling as everyone hates those lame overpowered mods that ruin d2.
