Hey guys, Waffle here! Just started playing about 1-2 weeks ago, and I gotta say, I'm already hooked. I used to play on the official servers for a little over a decade (2002-2013 or so), so you can imagine how it feels for a veteran to find a place with these ridiculous exp and drop rates. Over the years, I've tried a bunch of other Diablo-style games to scratch the itch (like Path of Exile and Grim Dawn), but nothing measures up to the original. I'm hopelessly addicted to this game and damn proud of it. I'm always down for helping out with rushes, baaling, and just general silliness. You can find me in-game on Pancake/Muffins/Syrup (SC). Hello @Waffle and welcome aboard. As a veteran you will find it a bit odd as you have said yourself but most likely you already got used to and I'm sure you will enjoy it. The fact that our ladders last up to two years and many players are still playing since day one it's really impressive considering that in a regular diablo realm the hype usually last two months and the logins count goes down a lot after that while in our case it's exactly the opposite. Another thing that I'm sure you will enjoy is that players rush other players for free unlike in the official where rushes were paid unless you had a buddy to help you. Also even though the rates are increased do keep in mind the experience rate decreases down to the point where it gets blizzlike 1x as for the bosses drop rates, we have received a huge amount of good feedbacks over the years, actually we even changed our model a bit couple years ago and people were quite mad as they wanted the current settings that they love so much, additionally even if the game is a bit easier it continues to be challenging as you will see for yourself. Thanks, @Gix! Definitely, it's amazing to find a community server with this many people still playing a year after reset. The boosted exp rate is excellent too, really helps save time getting to the endgame. My jaw dropped when I first started playing here and Normal Blood Raven dropped a bunch of uniques. Glad to give back in any way I can! Thanks man, loving it here already. I'll be sure to hop in on more of your BH runs when I get the chance! (I was the Javazon/Syrup in a few of the runs yesterday)
