A big "Hello!" from DiabloDan

Hello fellow gamers! My name is Dan (aka DiabloDan)! I've been a member here for a few months now, as some of you may already know. I just wanted to take the time to properly introduce myself to you all, so, here it goes.

I am Dan, a long-time fan and fellow player of Blizzard's Diablo series. I have been playing Diablo 2 since it's release back in late June of year 2000. Over the years, I slowly moved away from the game as I was growing up. Between work and school, I just didn't have the time to play as much as I would have liked to, but, now, over the past few months, I have reclaimed my interest in the game, with the discovery of this private server. The server is filled with friendly, generous and helpful people. Upon joining, I was greeted by some very friendly players in-game, who provided me with all kinds of tips and information that would ultimately get me to where I am today on the server. For this, I am thankful, and now, I do my part to try and help the new-comers as much as I possibly can. There are so many people I could thank personally for the help and kindness I've received on the server, but, as not forget anyone, I would thank every last member of the server for reviving a great part of my child-hood. You guys are great, and I enjoy playing with each and every one of you! You all sure know how to make a fellow gamer feel welcome!

Also, I would like to add, if anyone has any questions about the game, or, simply would like someone to play with, feel free to whisper me in-game (/w *DiabloDan), or send me a private message here on the forum, and I will do my best to help you enjoy your time spent playing on this amazing server! I am very active in-game, and I am going to put in the effort to be active on the forum as-well.

Well, as a Canadian, the sport is in my blood! I do actually enjoy playing hockey with a good group of friends, but, the whole idea of sitting and watching people play on television just isn't for me. Also, thank you for the compliment on the maturity. I do have a temper some times, but, most days, I like to think I'm pretty easy to communicate with. It's unfortunate, but, not all Canadian's are as friendly as the stereotype makes us out to be, but, I take pride in living up to it myself

Also, I agree, the signature should be trademarked hahaha!!

 

Ah ha! I've see an item or two that friends I've made (Who have helped me out greatly when I started on this server) in the game with "DiabloDan" personalized on it, and always wondered who that was. Sounds like you have the same spark as I do for this game, I've been playing off and on over the years myself, since the first Diablo. Anyway, hope to meet you in-game sometime, if I can pull myself from the games "lottery" mf runs, hehe. Always looking out for that next unique that brings my many characters closer to completion.

Hey Dan. Might I be one that helped you? Your nickname seems very familiar.
Usually I did around 3 new player introductory games per week. Running in Travi with them, to get new items for them etc.
