Special Events 20 Year Anniversary Contests and Events

Join us in celebrating 20 incredible years of our gaming community! Next week, we're marking this milestone with exciting events, epic contests, and nostalgic moments you won't want to miss. Gear up, bring your A-game, and let's make this anniversary legendary together!

From tournaments and giveaways to community challenges and nostalgia-filled throwbacks, there's something for everyone. A total of four major contests will be held this month (December 25, 2024 - January 31, 2025) and each contest has different requirements, so take a peek at them before creating and submitting your creations.

FAN ART
Fan art is a fun way to show off your favorite part of the game in your own style and unleash your artistic side! Submit an original painting, digital artwork or graphic design inspired by our Diablo 2 Legacy gaming community or your favorite moments. If you can create it, it counts, you don't have to be a professional.

Tools you can use: Microsoft Paint for those retro vibes, Adobe Photoshop for the pros, Online editors like Photopea – free and super easy to use! Or any other tool you’re comfortable with!

Your submission must be:

FAVORITE MEMORY
Twenty years is a long time, so let's reflect on the good times and find our favorite memories to share! This contest is more open-ended than the other two, as we will accept videos, pictures or even written text telling us about your favorite EuropeBattle memory! Really, we want to hear about your favorite time in the community, whether it's about when you met a really good friend or maybe you just had a really good game that you can't forget; let us know!

Our judging criteria for this one is about how well you tell your story, how heartwarming it is (will it make us go "awwww that was such a good memory!"?), and if it feels realistic or not. Yes, we do hope you tell us true stories!

Here, we are looking for fun, EuropeBattle-related memes. Whether it's text on an image or a TikTok, we accept it all! The only theme is that it relates to our EuropeBattle server somehow; other than that, have fun!

Runner ups and participation
You are guaranteed to win at least one Ber rune for participating however, if you decide to participate in two of the categories you will be rewarded with 2 Ber runes, or even 3 Ber runes if you participate in three different categories. If you are feeling inspired and wish to join all four contests, you will be rewarded with a whooping 5 Ber runes.

Additionally, out of all the participants in the contests, we will raffle out one Dye Color. Top #3 winners are excluded from this raffle.

My favourite memories are actually the talks me and Gix (and sometimes other GM's) had on teamspeak before we switched to discord. We had so much fun back then even talking the night away when coming up with events, like the first iron-man marathon or the first low level pvp duels. Brainstorming about rules. First iron-man marathon i think we started at around 21;00 and continued till like 05:00-06:00 in the morning coming up with all the rules based on every scenario.

My favourite in-game memory (apart from trolling other GM's) is when i was duelling someone on my max block troll build orb sorc maxed out with 95% ES combined with straight damage reduction and magic damage reduction gear, not % dr or mdr). @kiwifruit knows what sorc im talking about.
I was on my non-GM account so most people dont know its me. And this guy was duelling me on his bowazon and couldnt kill me and kept losing. He was then messaging me on my GM account and complaining to me about this orb sorc he couldnt kill and suspected that the orb sorc was using hacks While im duelling him at the same time.
After a few more times of him getting killed i told him who i was and we had a good laugh about it.

I actually have a lot of fond memories in my 8+ years on this server.
