Special Events 20 Year Anniversary Contests and Events

I'm not perfectly talking english as you can see but i want to wish a freakin happy new year guys , and the best drop's for you all!

For this 20th anniversary, I have gone through many people, I have made friends, but also enemies. Since I have been playing on this server since 2014, I have learned a lot about the game: facts, hidden things, Easter eggs, bugs, rituals and more cube things. I am grateful to this game and especially to Gix, who to this day maintains this server to fill the eyes of the players with joy. I also want to thank Gix for opening my eyes to some things and that one should not give up, in any situation. I wish Gix and his entire GM team and all these players to continue this game for another 20 years. Thank you for everything!

 

My favourite memorie is when i started playing diablo 2 , not private servers.
its maybe a different memorie for me what i can tell you with my english knowledge (lol) , but this is was soo epic for me.

we are walking around 2006-7? maybe i dont remembering correctly.
my first really really hardplay( in my mind) was a den of evil quest. ( you think now ofc, its simple this is the first quest!, and you right but!)
i died 20+ times minimum, tryhard like 3.5 hours (i know it was 3.5 bcs this was a "playtime" from my father, like a weekly playtime) and i cant finished the quest in 3.5 hour.
next week i deleted the character, made an another one and keep trying, on my own. after 1 hour i won with my paladin!!!

after all... Love, endurance ,humility. these 3 thing changed my attitude for the game and for the life.
i was 8y Old.

2. FAVORITE MEMORY & BEST WISHES
Despite the fact that I started playing here quite some time ago, my presence and activity were sporadic - didn't quite have a consistent online presence, due to real life things.
While I don't have a specific or targeted past event to share with you, my "favorite memory" of this community is the fact that long ago it indirectly helped me traverse some rather tough times, by simply offering me a place to play one of my all-time favorite games with other people, free of charge, and forget about things. To me, at that particular time in my life this community has been therapeutical, and that memory will never fade away.
For this reason, I would like to thank the entire community for what they are - with both bad and good actors, all of you play a significant part in shaping up this awesome community!
Lastly, I would also like to congratulate the entire staff for what they have accomplished. The consistency and evolution have been amazing, I am proud to have been here.

The time when I got my first Ber on the battle net which I never got before at other server. To date I had all the runeword I want, but the 1st one is still in my memory.

I had played with this server couple of times, not that often anymore due to other errands for the real life. But after playing so many other games and at other server, europe battle net is always one of my places after several years playing.

My best memory has to be the day i found my first high rune here i woke up early... started the game helped a friend and went farming i was in durance of hate feeling completely tired cause i woke up just a few minutes ago and was killing everything (literally) wish i remembered the elites name but little did i know what it had waiting for me a ber rune! it felt like i jumped through the roof i had energy that whole day thinking about it like "when am i seeing another one? what if its a Jah rune!" didn't find much else that day but still that sits with me today replaying every so often

I can't remember what it was like, but luckily I found this Diablo II community (one of the few left), perhaps my best memory is when I won my first "count to 1000", it made me feel part of the community, thank you very much for the hours of entertainment, thanks to the support that always responds promptly, happy anniversary and may these 20 years become many more, happy new year and I hope that this ladder does reach 99....
