    Hello,

I've just started to play diablo2. Had a short break, about 14 years. I used to play in 1.09d and I really loved. Accidentally found this server and I am very pleased with community. While running normal few people connected and donated some items, which really helped me. Once again thank you.
As I am lack of knowledge and still don't know what is good and what is bad I was wondering about cow levels and ball runs. Do people organize it? I have joined hell yesterday, but haven't seen any so far. I remember if you kill cow king you no longer can't do cow level, is its the same here?
Any tips that a new player should use it here would be more than welcome.
Also feel free to add me L3Fan.
I hope you will have a great day.

    Hi and welcome @LeFan
Cow King can be killed here with no penalty, most low to mid-tier uniques need to be perfect to have any value here ( like mara, raven, shako, gore, titans etc.) apart from the high-tier items which can have a value even if not perfect, you can check prices in this thread http://forum.europebattle.net/threads/price-check-my-items.532546/
Also, we have a Custom feature list feel free to check it out.
Some good zones to grind are
    Tristram Grisworld for all bases
    Travincal for mid-tier uniques
Cows for some Gems and some times good runes
For high-tier uniques all 84+ areas like The Pit Level 1+2, Ancient Tunnels, Chaos Sanctuary, Halls of Vaught, The Worldstone Keep and to Baal, etc.
There are many other places that can have a good drop but is just a matter of preference
You will find baalruns to get some xp or can start your own game, most baalruns games will be named BH or Baalrun followed by a number.

    Cheers.

    Hi,
    Thanks for all the welcomes.

Maybe any of you will answer my noob'ish questions.

I saw uber Diablo, you or someone else has to sell Soj, but that next? I can understand that is the most powerful boss in this game. Does his drop is insane as well?
Another one, what does that essence does? I had some from br and mephisto, but have no idea what can I do with that.
Last but not least, does it worth it to mf from mephisto? Its super fast, he gives good items. I know that he is not giving top tier, but still its a nice thing.

    Thanks.

Hi, ill answer of all your questions.

1.Uber Diablo is creating by SoJ when sold it to npc in game then you killing him where you sold soj to npc like soj to akara hell= anywhere you go first in A1 for ex. stony there will be Diablo not rakanishu and kill it with some better hero or smite paladin , then you gain small charm unniq- its Annihilus,
2.Essences can be mixed in cube to special Token from 4 pieces of essences typical Blue anda/duriel +Yellow mef+Red Diablo+Green Baal- token is for reset stats/skills on hero same as quest den of evil norm/nm/hell.
3.Here You dont need specially mf coz drop rate uniq items is increased just keep your hero with any items and play travincal or any other boss, but for start i recommend go play travi hell and nithlathak later with peace of nature ring, mef etc is optional.
    Regards

I will like to add on Uber Diablo you only need 1 soj and it need to be sold to akara hell, then you can go to any act were a boss or mini-boss spawn and it will replace the boss/mini-boss with Uber Diablo in the first place you go. And he only drops a unique small charm = Annihilus
