Solved Can I have 2 versions of D2 on my PC?

I want to try out this server but I don't want to change my current install. Can I install another copy of D2 to use with this server?

 

I wont advice you on how to play on other servers while you are playing here lol

 

Why? I wouldn't be playing on another server at the same time I'm playing here.

 

Oh my man im sorry its a misunderstanding , my bad for reading wrong . im not sure that is possible without using a secondary pc , again my apoligies for the earlier post.

 

I think it's still possible if you clone the game in to a different directory or a disk. All game files, patches and everything else would be in 2 different folders/disks so I think it's not a problem.
Just when installing the new D2 don't overwrite your existing one.

 

ya you can, just copy your folder to another place so everything you do there will be applied to that folder.
just dont install again, copy the folder.

 

You can , but if you want to play diferent versions (for example : 1.13 and 1.10) need to fix your registry (at regedit)
