Cannot connect

Hey guys, recently new player to server. My brother and I have just been disconnect and I think our ip is banned, could a admin explain why we have possibly received a ban?
The only thing I can possibly think would result in a ban was a d2gfx.dll file i downloaded in the forums to run multiple instances of the game. I have followed the server rules and nothing said this type of file was not allowed.
When I try to connect it says something about my modem ( it use to say this when i was banned from battle.net before for playing on two pcs, my brother and I) I would appreciate any information, thanks in advance

Also is diablo 2 game warden still active in private servers?

 

Never mind I guess it was a issue with server, sorry i jumped the gun a little fast, last time this happened i received the exact same message and i couldn'nt connected for 6 months
